He’s looking like a shadow of the player he used to be when he first arrived at Old Trafford. His performances over recent months haven't been anywhere near the level required, and frankly, he doesn't have the right to be talking about tactics when he's giving you nothing on the pitch. If you’re going to call out Carrick's instructions, you’d better be delivering a 10 out of 10 performance yourself. But he was passive, he couldn't influence the game, and then he goes off the pitch to publicly undermine his manager. When the captain starts doing that, it completely destroys squad unity and proves the dressing room has shattered."
