Inventor鈥檚 Gin was recently featured in our exclusive Scottish Gin Subscription service. The recipe features locally foraged heather root and nettles, homegrown red chillis and a range of commercially sourced botanicals, including juniper and pink peppercorns.
The red chillis and pink peppercorns are slowly infused with smoke at the distillery before being used in the distillation. The result is a classic gin with notes of juniper, floral, citrus, delicately layered with smoky spices, providing warmth and complex spicy aromatic notes.
Our Feb subscribers received Aberdeenshire鈥檚 House of Elrick Gin & an exclusive Cocktail Collection Book. Botanicals inc pink peppercorn, sweet fennel, heather pearls & rose petals. Fragrant & aromatic, the resulting flavour profile is fresh & earthy with floral & spiced notes.
The House of Elrick estate is rich in history, dating back over 300 years. Bonnie Prince Charlie is said to have visited & gifted the Jacobite rose to the estate, which can be found growing in the beautiful walled garden in the heart of the grounds.

Our Jan #ScottishGin subscribers were treated to a bottle of Gin No 5, the signature spirit from Roehill Springs in Moray. The gin has a classic London Dry style profile ft a number of traditional and locally foraged botanicals delivering flavours of pine, floral, citrus, spice.
Working on a traditional Portuguese alembic pot still, Duncan and Shirley have always maintained a hands-on approach; all spirits are distilled, bottled, labelled, waxed, packaged by hand on-site at their family farm, reflecting their dedication to quality, craft, authenticity.
