#Books Finished reading '20 Jazz Funk Greats' (Continuum, 2008), the excellent book by @DDDrewDaniel on the excellent LP by @ThrobbingGrstle. Yes, THAT @DDDrewDaniel (of Matmos & Johns Hopkins University fame). It was his 1st book and a good one. #Reading

In the House & On the (New) Deck: 'Renascent' by The Durutti Column (@RoughTrade, 2026). It's magnificent--as is the new deck, btw. TEAC TN-55B w a blue Ortofon cartridge. My first new deck in 37 years, and only my 3rd as an adult. First two: Thorens TD-160 & Ariston Q.
