a tremendous slim book for those who haven't studied the science of hadith and can't access the arabic corpus. the first time i encountered it, i was dazzled by the commentary under hadith 6452/65 (p11). i used to use it as an example to ultracrepadarians 😏. try this... 1/2

A lot of people came at me for recommending Fath al-Bari to laypeople, understandably, given that it’s a high-level, multi-volume Hadith commentary. So let me clarify what I was referring to: the abridged commentary by Abdul Hakim Murad, which is an absolute gem. Link below!
