Why do I have a feeling that I know the decision
I had a dream, and in that dream I was told that every Zimbabwean who believes in prayer should pray for the next thirty days. Those who believe in African Traditional Religion should kneel down and speak to the Almighty in their own way. The prayer is that a dark cloud, which will soon pass over our country, does so without bloodshed. I was told that a major decision is about to be taken. Depending on how it is taken, it could bring bloodshed, or it could bring peace, if all Zimbabweans seek divine intervention. Atheists, take a holiday. That is all I saw, and all I was told, in that dream.

I'm just thinking what can my country offer 🫴🏾🤔
Thank you my dear brother President @CyrilRamaphosa for your warm congratulations and offer of support. We look forward to working with you and all who share this vision as we make this a truly African Grand Prix in every way possible, and take motorsport to new heights on our continent.

But the other manager was minding her own business
We have a Zulu problem in this country. This is a fact lumpen radicals like @JacintaNgobese are not willing to acknowledge.

Congratulations to Rwanda
President Kagame responds to those who say: "Formula 1 is too big for a small country like Rwanda." I tell those people to take a deep breath and calm down, and wait to see what is coming. First, we are people, like the people of other parts of the world. There is nothing, no event, nothing that is bigger than people. So, we are a small country, but we are a people. Formula One is big indeed, but it is not a goal just in itself. In fact, Formula One is part of the big picture of what Rwanda has to do. We made progress as a country, as a people, but also for this particular Formula One, as a sport for Africa. We are not looking at just Rwanda alone. We are looking at Rwanda in the context of the continent, and we have indeed ambitions to bring in other African brothers and sisters to participate. It is Rwandan, it is African, and it is a big deal that we are very happy to be associated with.

To think in in my country it would take the longest time
Dubai has the most unrealistic standards for government services. I wanted to rent a car on Sunday, had the thought on Saturday night. I realized I need an Emirati license as I am a resident so have to convert my current one. Started my application online, went to the 24/7 happiness centre that processes any government related issue. Got an eye test, waited 2 minutes, got the new license printed on the spot. Whole thing took 30 minutes. They even had a cafe in the centre and were walking around with a jug giving out arabic coffee. I love this place

Chiwenga boycotts Zanu PF fundraising dinner Following a dramatic cancellation of the Zanu PF politburo meeting yesterday due to a row over proposed amendments to the ruling party constitution to align it with the national Supreme Law, Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga, who played a key role in the political drama, boycotted the inaugural President’s Ball fundraising dinner at the Hippodrome, Braeside, Harare. President Emmerson Mnangagwa and First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa, as well as Vice-President Kembo Mohadi, Secretary-General Jacob Mudenda and chairperson Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri attended the inaugural President’s Ball fundraising dinner at the Hippodrome in Harare, but Chiwenga was a no-show. Chiwenga, who is locked in a fierce and deadly succession battle with Mnangagwa, is the only one in the presidium of the party who wasn't there. The high-profile event aimed to raise US$6 million for the upcoming Zanu National People's Conference in Chinhoyi from 12-17 October was organised by Philip Chiyangwa, chairman of the fund-raising committee. Chiwenga also boycotted the funeral of the late Zanu PF funder, local tycoon Wicknell Chivayo, during the week.
