British TV anchor @KamaliMelbourne of Sky News with a moving, personal response to Trump’s posting of the racist clip of the Obamas.
I know Kamali just a little. I’m proud of him for saying this — and sad we’re in a moment when he has to.

The journey to become a World Athletics Championships finalist begins at home.
Irish women's hammer trailblazer Nicola Tuthill, then just 15 years old, watches on as her dad Norman builds his daughter a throwing circle (and then cage) in a field at home on their farm in Kilbrittain.
On Monday, Nicola, now 21, will throw in the World final and is guaranteed a top-12 finish.
And her remarkable rise started at home. 🙌

Great to read a predominantly upbeat story about a secondary school that doesn’t grab headlines like some schools do with their “625 points” students. Worth a read. #edchatie

The Israelis have murdered Al Jazeera’s Anas al-Sharif. The fucking bastards. I’m sorry but I’m enraged. They’d been threatening this for a while. Anas was so courageous and brought a special emotion and depth to his reports. He was our eyes. And that’s why they killed him.
