Always thought medieval beer and ale was less strong because of the modern brewing methods produce elevated results. This dude makes a good point about medieval beer being way more wild that I knew.

I was genuinely entertained by Big Mommy's intervention to help stop the massacre of Mr. Iguana. Good lady!
Here is the GURPS build for this superhero:
AVERAGE MAN
Attributes: all 10s
Skills: all skills at 10s
This perfectly sums up these famous video games for the so-called "modern audiences". Boring as hell.
Social profiling is disgusting. People have the right to their opinions.
From my 20 years in the video games industry I would say that it is precisely people with strong opinions that get shit done.
This discovery is also a direct blow to the hypothesis that extraterrestrials created the human race to mine gold in mines, when it would be relatively easy for them to just manufacture it.
THIS IS INSANE!!!
A San Francisco startup says it just turned mercury into real gold.
The company is Marathon Fusion. This week they announced they'd made stable gold using fusion neutrons, at 10x the record CERN set in 2025.
CERN's record was 29 picograms over four years. So nobody's pouring bars yet.
The method is what got me. You hit mercury-198 with a fusion neutron. It loses a neutron, becomes mercury-197, and over the next few days decays into gold-197. The exact same gold sitting in central bank vaults.
Their 2025 paper says a one-gigawatt fusion plant built this way could make around 2 tonnes of gold a year as a side product, while it's selling electricity.
I've said it for years. Gold is a shiny rock. It's valuable because there's only so much of it and pulling it out of the ground is hard and expensive.
If this holds up, gold's scarcity turns into an engineering problem. And you can only delay technical progress. You can't stop it.
To be fair, the gold comes out mixed with radioactive isotopes and would need to sit for well over a decade before it's safe to touch. Nobody outside the company has verified the result yet, and commercial fusion is still years away.
Peter Schiff has spent years telling everyone Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.
This week a startup says it made gold out of mercury.
There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. No reactor on Earth can make one more.
Like most video gamers, I rarely finish a game. BioWare was an exception as it made several games that I was able to complete, some even replayed all the way through : Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3.
Since the company turned woke I haven't purchased a single new BioWare game, not interested in this bland, narcissistic, surface level type of storytelling.
It is a sad, sure, but it is also SO fucking well deserved. The people who made great games are not longer working there, replace by talentless goblins.
BioWare let the customers, the fans, down in the name of ideology. Let that be a lesson to all video game publishers : Try to improve culture against its will and watch yourself burn.
I will enjoy BioWare's classic games for many years to come.
For what is worth. See ya!
These "students" did not touch the books and the ham butter sandwichs.
Very, strange.

Bron Breaker is a tank, not a luchadore. He keeps failing this move, again, and again, and again. He must stop or he will eventually break his neck.
Glory is where it is at.
