@USEmbTurkiye Requesting a public status update or confirmation of consular access regarding U.S. citizen Richard James Schueler (aka @RichardHeartWin), who was publicly reported detained in Istanbul on October 14, 2026, in connection with an Interpol Red Notice. Has the U.S. Consulate established contact and conducted a welfare check? Any available information on his current status or the status of consular notification would be appreciated. If there is an established process for an authorized private party to conduct an in-person welfare visit, a team from my organization is prepared to travel immediately under whatever protocol the Consulate requires. Formal inquiries can also be directed through American Citizen Services. sinanakalin.av.tr/legal-righ…

The INTERPOL red notice was requested only by Finland (issued December 2024). The offence listed on it is aggravated tax fraud (törkeä veropetos) covering roughly June 2020–April 2024. The well-known U.S. case was a civil SEC lawsuit from 2023 alleging unregistered securities offerings (HEX, PulseChain, PulseX) that raised over $1 billion and misappropriation of ~$12 million. That case was dismissed in February 2025 for lack of personal jurisdiction; the SEC did not refile. There is no reported U.S. criminal indictment, no U.S. red notice, and the U.S. is not seeking his extradition.

there’s so much absolute nonsense flying around right now. have you guys completely lost your minds? we’re in touch with the guys of our team who lives in Turkey, and they’ve also tried getting information through local sources, but that’s simply not how things work here. there’s currently a confidentiality order on the investigation, and the only realistic way to get information is through Richard’s lawyers or an official statement to the press. the initial detention period is usually around 3-4 days, although in certain circumstances it can be extended to 7. eventually, though, a decision has to be made on whether to formally arrest him or release him. from what we can tell, this detention appears to be part of a domestic investigation rather than an Interpol operation, but nothing is confirmed. some of you are taking a name found on a gun permit and making all kinds of ridiculous claims based on a name match. that’s just stupid. the name is extremely common, basically like John Doe. it could be the name Richard adopted if he obtained Turkish citizenship, or it could have absolutely nothing to do with him. we simply don't know. looking at the photos published in the news, there are also indications that a woman and a little girl may have been living in the same house. a pink jacket, handwritten notes that look like someone practicing English, etc. but the guns? that part is still hard to make sense of. anyway, we’re trying to get information about the case, but the confidentiality order makes everything much harder. so if you genuinely want answers, please try reaching out to his lawyers instead of inventing random theories. the attorneys who represented him in the SEC case might still be representing him. get facts, not theories! we’ve seen dozens of similar operations in Turkey over the past year or two. there’s practically news about financial crime investigations every single day. what we don't know is exactly which category this particular case falls into. also, let’s clear up a few things. i’ve seen people claiming that if Richard is a Turkish citizen, extradition would be impossible. that's not necessarily true. whether extradition happens can depend on the circumstances and discussions between the two governments. please stop taking a couple of legal provisions and presenting your interpretation as an absolute fact. there are plenty of real-world cases that show how complicated these things can be. seized materials are held as part of the investigation, and Turkey isn't quite the third-world country some of you seem to imagine. a few corrupt cops can't just walk away with the seized assets, nor can someone simply throw a few million dollars in bribes around and magically walk free. if we can find out the actual charges and details of the investigation, then we can start answering the real question: what happens next? he could face trial without being held in custody, be released under a travel ban while proceedings continue, be remanded in custody, or be released entirely. the only thing that really hurts is knowing he was so close to us and we didn't even have a single line of communication with him. we're ready to do whatever we legally can to help, but we can't stand against the rule of law. if he's released pending trial and needs a place to stay around here, our doors are open. a home, a hotel, whatever he needs. we genuinely hope he's innocent and gets released. so please, try contacting his lawyers for actual information, or seek assistance through the US consulate in Turkey. unfortunately, the confidentiality order on the case means there's very little we can do from here right now. we’ll do our best to stay updated.

TV100 stands by its report, citing its own reporter and sources: “no doubt or questions” about its accuracy. It alleges an Istanbul-based international crypto fraud network. No official source named; custody and current legal status remain unverified. tv100.com/mit-ve-emniyetten-…

I appreciate Judge Amon's careful ruling which has dismissed all of the SEC's claims against me. This type of victory over the SEC is quite rare. PulseChain, PulseX and HEX are not securities and should be allowed to flourish. HEX has operated flawlessly for over 5 years. Today's decision in favor of a cryptocurrency founder and his projects over the SEC brings welcome relief and opportunity to all cryptocurrencies. Thank you President Trump for supporting cryptocurrency. @realDonaldTrump storage.courtlistener.com/re…

RH VS SEC CASE SUMMARY🧵 This was a hearing on Richard Heart's motion to dismiss the SEC's case against him at 14:00 in New York The hearing focused on two main issues - personal jurisdiction and the SEC's fraud allegations. The courtroom was packed, with around 75 people attending across the main courtroom and an overflow room. This strong community turnout was noted. Personal Jurisdiction Arguments: A major focus of the hearing was whether the court has personal jurisdiction over Richard, who is based in Finland. The judge questioned the SEC extensively on what contacts or transactions Richard had within the United States that would allow a US court to exercise jurisdiction over him. The SEC argued that Richard's online activities, videos, and interactions with US-based individuals could establish jurisdiction. However, the judge seemed skeptical that the SEC had shown sufficient domestic transactions to meet the jurisdictional requirements. The judge drew comparisons to a previous crypto case she had presided over (the Plexcoin case), but ultimately found the facts in that case to be quite different from the current one. Fraud Allegations: The SEC alleged that Richard committed fraud by misusing funds raised through the Pulse Chain project. However, the judge pushed back on this, noting that if Richard delivered the product he promised (i.e. launching Pulse Chain), that would not necessarily constitute fraud even if he used some funds for personal expenses. The judge questioned the SEC's arguments, asking pointed questions like "where does the blockchain live?" - suggesting she was skeptical that the SEC had established the transactions occurred domestically. Richard's legal team presented a detailed timeline exhibit, which helped counter the SEC's attempts to make the chronology seem more suspicious. Legal Team Performance: Richard's legal team, particularly attorney David Kirk, were praised for their excellent preparation and lawyering. In contrast, the SEC's arguments seemed to struggle under the judge's probing questions, with the SEC at one point appearing to abandon its "alter ego" claim against Richard's other projects. Potential Outcomes: Based on the judge's questioning and the performance of the legal teams,@NuclearHerbs suggested Richard's team had a strong case for getting the SEC's claims dismissed on jurisdictional grounds. However, the final decision will likely take 60-90 days, as the judge considers all the arguments and evidence presented. Community Involvement: The strong community turnout and support for Richard was noted as significant, with Richard's legal team acknowledging and appreciating the community's presence. The community's involvement and professionalism in attending the hearing was praised by the speakers. All Credit @MatiAllin & @NuclearHerbs - Parts were taken from their Twitter Space Conversation

Me, not burying the lede: Richard's motion to dismiss hearing is still on for the 31st at 2pm. Why I mention it: I went over to the EDNY's court calendar to confirm the time because someone asked me. But it's not there. In fact, if you look at the EDNY’s court calendar, there’s nothing about this hearing. See here: nyed.uscourts.gov/dailySch/ Check the 31st – no mention of RH’s case. That’s weird. I also couldn’t find the PACER entry that Richard posted on Sep 20. It doesn’t appear to exist. Not sure where that screenshot came from – it’s clearly from PACER (color/font/formatting/etc), but I can’t find it on the docket. Also weird. Had me a little worried. So I called Judge Amon’s clerk this morning and confirmed – yes it is still on for the 31st. I have no idea why it’s not on the EDNY calendar. But it should appear on Judge Amon’s calendar on Monday: nyed.uscourts.gov/judges-inf… (Her calendar is only week by week, so we have to wait until Monday to see it.) See you there. #Hex #PLS #PLSX

I genuinely can't get over how insane this is. The SEC used the term "crypto asset securities" eight times in the eToro settlement order they issued on THE SAME DAY they told a federal court that they wouldn't use it to avoid confusion. The SEC has officially jumped the shark.

Did the SEC just choose ETH, BTC and BCH as winners? Did they just choose technology for you? How is forcing the sale of some things for other things and removing markets helping create "fair, orderly, and efficient markets."? The SEC just announced a settlement with a company. They'll pay $1.5M fine and delist, send back to users, and after 187 days SELL all the coins. UNLESS THEY ARE ETHEREUM BITCOIN OR BITCOIN CASH? They don't say in the press release or the cease and desist which the other coins are. Why don't they say what the other coins are? I'm not a lawyer and this is not advice. Here's some random thoughts. The DEA could pretend coins are drugs and arrest everyone for drugs. The ATF could pretend coins are guns and arrest everyone for guns. The SEC could pretend coins are securities... I've been told that the SEC isn't supposed to choose winners and losers. That they're not supposed to do malicious prosecution. That they're "technology neutral." That they "facilitate capital formation." I believe they might also take oaths to upload the constitution, which it seems, they might not understand what the constitution guarantees us in right to association, speech, assembly, contract, equal protection as blockchain speakers. Other random thoughts. Arbitrary and capricious. Void for vagueness. Fair notice. Taking or regulatory taking (look it up.) (Apparently the government isn't allowed to just take your things or their value, without "just compensation." Anyway, the SEC published the cease and desist and a press release on the settlement, I don't actually see the real settlement document, so who knows how it might be different than the cease and desist? If only there were more transparency and less guessing. Maybe the SEC will be more clear and point out specifically whcih coins they're calling "certain crypto assets as securities." in their press release. Or maybe they can't, because they're not really sure themselves. Maybe it's arbitrary. Maybe it's capricious. Also, I've never liked eToro, because the majority of people that use them lose money, or at least they say they did, at the top of their own homepage, which said something like 65% of users of this service lose money, or something to that effect. Now I think it says something weaker. I'm not a fan of trading in general, I think it destroys lives. youtube.com/watch?v=1_p8AuXD…

This is the first of three filings you'll see today. This was Richard's original Motion to Dismiss and Memorandum of Law (the two things go together) that someone released back on April 8, 2024. This document is dated April 8. We talked extensively about it that week. This is nothing new. It's just officially being filed today. This goes back to the Court's local rules where briefings don't get officially filed until the motion is fully briefed (i.e. motion, response brief, reply brief). This is a rule unique to this particular judge, and probably has to do with the clock starting on when things have to be heard or decided in fed court. Most courts don't do it this way. In fact, this is the only judge I've ever seen do it this way. Regardless, You'll soon see the SEC's response brief and Richard's Reply brief filed at some point today.

I just got off the phone with someone who attended RH’s discovery hearing this morning. At their request, I will not mention them by name, but I can’t possibly thank them enough for the incredibly valuable information they were able to provide. For future reference, the courthouse staff took everyone’s devices away except for the lawyers, so nobody could record anything if they wanted to. For background, it’s incredibly unusual for anyone besides attorneys and the judge to be at discovery hearings. It’s rare that the parties themselves are there. Those types of hearings are boring af, and most of the ones I’ve seen or been part of consist of attorneys complaining about stuff while the judge tries to make the children stop fighting. The average citizen takes zero interest in them. I’m sure seeing even one person watching the hearing was a surprise to everyone there, but I’m very grateful for the info. There was some conversation about #HEX, #PLS, and #PLSX and whether or not they will be represented. The SEC seemed to acknowledge that those are not actual entities and simply code. I’m not sure how that issue will get resolved, but I assume we’ll learn more as we see this case move along. I’m not sure what good it would do to have an attorney represent code, since there’s no method of effectively communicating with or advising a client that doesn’t actually exist. It’s also hard to get non-existent clients to sign retainer agreements that are required by the state bar, or to pay their bills. So this idea creates a whole host of real world problems. Not unexpectedly, the SEC is looking for discovery on pretty much every issue right now and wants basically unfettered access to information about RH, his communications, his devs, influencers in the community, etc. The judge apparently wasn’t willing to entertain those types of blanket requests, which is the right call. Discovery is not a fishing expedition (a term used often by courts), and overbroad requests routinely get narrowed or denied altogether. I expect that to be the case here based on what I heard. She ordered the parties to discuss and come up with a more limited, targeted discovery plan and set a hearing for May 2 (which the court indicated may be telephonic, so we may be able to all listen in). It sounds like the court thought the SEC’s requests were too broad (this makes sense) and also noted that 19 months or so have passed since the SEC’s service of its subpoena. Not following up or trying to enforce something you served 19 months earlier doesn’t scream urgency, and from what I understood from my source, that’s how the court saw it as well. In a pretty cool move, my source also stopped and chatted with RH’s attorneys after the hearing, and said that RH’s lawyers were supremely confident in RH’s position, not just with respect to this hearing, but with respect to their ability to prevail against the SEC. That’s actually a pretty remarkable thing for attorneys to just tell someone outright, unless they’re talking to a journalist or some other media figure and they want to get that message out to the people. Maybe that was the case here. Who knows? But it’s certainly nice to hear that directly from RH’s team. My source also said that RH’s lawyers told them that it would be great to have more people show up to support RH during upcoming hearings. So remember this for the October 24 oral argument, which will be the biggest event of this case so far. If you’re anywhere near NYC and can make it, it looks like RH’s attorneys think a packed courtroom might help send a message. Again, many, many thanks for the info!
