YES! The minimum wage is no longer doing what it was designed to do - make sure that a full time job pays enough to meet basic living expenses.
When I was a kid, my mother got a minimum wage job that could support a family of three. But now, a minimum wage job wouldn’t keep a momma and her baby out of poverty. That is wrong, and that is why I’m in the #FightFor15.
At no point have I ever been “unclean” by virtue of menstruating or giving birth.

Maryland has already vaccinated 57% of 12- to 17-year-olds against #COVID19—the third-highest rate in the nation.
Through our #VaxU program, all 12- to 17-year-olds who get vaccinated are eligible to win a $50,000 scholarship.

Schools with students old enough to receive the covid vaccine should require that all students returning to campus be vaccinated or have a signed medical exemption from a board certified medical doctor.
Elementary schools need to keep mask mandates.

If people have to fill out an application before finding out how much a job pays, they are being manipulated into taking less than they deserve. Companies hope that after you jump through all the hoops, you’ll just take what you can get.
