stop dating new partners for clarity. if you still love your ex go back to them. if you're still hurt, heal first then date YOU DONT DATE SOMEBODY to find closure.
rest,you won't rust.
do not use somebody's heart trying to heal your wounds.
heal first..

the great thing ab beating a dead horse with the right hg is that you discover new parts of the horse you didn’t beat before.

I was in love last week and today we’re no contact. I don’t think people understand how heartbreaking modern dating can be. How do you go from speaking every day, sharing your thoughts, making plans, letting someone become part of your routine and genuinely believing there’s a future together to suddenly having no place in each other’s lives? It’s a strange kind of grief because you’re not just losing a person. You’re losing the conversations you got used to, the little things you looked forward to, the future you quietly started imagining and the version of life where they were still in it. And somehow, you’re expected to accept that someone who felt so familiar just days ago is now someone you aren’t supposed to reach out to. I think one of the saddest parts of modern dating is how quickly you can go from feeling deeply connected to having to teach yourself how to live without someone who was recently part of your every day.

Maybe the most romantic thing someone can give you isn't butterflies, it's certainty. Knowing a difficult conversation won't make them leave, their affection won't vanish with a bad mood, knowing you don't have to perform to be loved.
