Based from what I've read from here... I think this is the issue: 1. The brand wanted Ling to use her Thai Passport and expected them to submit a work visa just like Orm specially that she's having another event a day after. 2. BEC and the team insist it is not needed since Ling has been using her HK passport and that she has a Home Return Permit allowing her to come and work in mainland China without the need for a separate working visa. 3. The channel then asked the brand to provide them with the crucial info about the event including the permits secured for said event. 4. The brand insisted that there is no need to apply for any permits as the number of people attending would not reach 1,000 and no performance or whatsoever will be held thus such permits are not needed. 5. Because of previous experiences of having police in the event venues and other issues for both of the girls' events, BEC is taking extra measures to ensure nothing like that would happen again thus asking for the proper permits or documents. 6. Since the brand won't provide such permits and insist that there is no need for such, the mgt then suggested to have the girls stay in diff hotels and do a 1+1 events instead, to avoid people reporting the duo event (tss are the main reason for all these issues). 7. Since both parties won't give in to the request of the other, no middle ground found, mgt then decided not to send the girls over having in mind their safety. I am not sure if I got these things correct but looks like this is how the things went.
