🇵🇸 A mother in Gaza lost all 7 children in one strike.
“I miss the word Mom. No one calls me Mom anymore.”
She had 2 sons and 5 daughters. The oldest was 20, the youngest just 3.
She was at the market when an Israeli strike hit the school shelter where her family was staying.
And somehow, she calls herself lucky. Lucky because she found their bodies and got to bury them.
She misses their voices, their shouting, their little faces.
And the one word she'll never hear from them again.
“Mom.” 💔
How much more can Gaza lose before the world finally says enough?

Poppi used to get her milk from her mum. Now a bottle does the trick.
Her mother was a matriarch of Amboseli. When she died of natural causes, Poppi couldn’t have survived without milk, so when the Kenya Wildlife Service rescued her, the mantle fell to us to keep her appetite sated. Although she had already spent her first year in the wild, she settled quickly into our care, and her voracious appetite soon became clear. So much so that we have increased her portion!

Today, NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair has announced that he will honor 8-year-old Fatima Al-Bayook, who lost her entire family in an Israeli airstrike in 2023 and survived two days beneath the rubble, only to be shot and murdered by Israeli forces in Gaza two days ago.
He will be wearing her name on his eye black during the Texans game against the Giants.

NOW: Members of Brazil's Landless Workers' Movement (MST) celebrate the victory of progressive Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at São Paulo's Elza Soares Cultural Space.
Lula clinched the victory with 51.7% of the votes to Flávio Bolsonaro's 48.2%, a bigger margin than the latter had achieved in the first round of elections.
The MST and other left movements in Brazil had heavily participated in Lula's campaign, sounding the alarm that a Bolsonaro presidency would bring attacks on workers' rights, further destruction of the Amazon and the environment, and the undermining of Brazil's sovereignty.
