In a gerrymandered district, our campaign was within a single point of winning. Thank you to everyone who worked to make that a reality. I am immensely grateful.
I will continue to fight for the people of TN and together our movement is just getting started.
my replies from my last few tweets currently leave a lot to be desired, to put it simply HAHAHAHAHA if youβre my mutual, can you just drop something kind? something that makes you happy? anything funny? just something to get me out of this hellhole

As much as everyone is happy about the blue wave my heart breaks watching these results for Justin J Pearson. Justin has been one of the most progressive figures in all of Memphis. When he announced we was running I was so happy because he would have won without a doubt, butβ¦
now why would you show me this immediately upon opening Spotify IF YOU WERENβT ACTUALLY OFFERING TICKETS TO ME πππππ

Someone told me to "vote according to Biblical values!"
So I voted for welcoming immigrants, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, and loving all our neighbors.

I believe Tennessee is worth fighting for. I have always believed that. And I will never stop believing it. This was one battle for the future of our state. It was not the end of the fight.
We have more work to do. More communities to organize. More voices to lift up. More people to bring into this movement.
And to every volunteer, every supporter, every person who donated, knocked a door, made a phone call, hosted a gathering, or simply told a friend why this campaign mattered: thank you.
guys iβm begging you DO NOT MOVE OUT OF TENNESSEE, the only way change is gonna happen is if we stay here and fight for it. this gives me really high hopes for the next election

Marsha lost 6 of the top 7 counties in TN and still ended up winning. Really weird but Jerri ran a good campaign. Itβs no reason TN should have like 10 independent people running. Once you lose all the big counties, you should lose the race.
going to bed with a migraine and heartburn. disappointed in tennessee to say the least for the overall results. just gotta remind myself of those small victories tho. weβll flip this state blue eventually π
iβm already dreading waking up as the lone blue dot in a fully red house, everyone else in my house celebrating while i just want to cry from disappointment
