“Difficult to work with” is what they said to the media
Colby Wright@904KANGOct 25
They said no James Franklin in Tally. Let’s see what Mike do next week against Dabo. But VT might win 9 games in year one.

I think the stadium attendance discussion is super fascinating because it’s really nuanced and layered. Like Bama/Texas? Probably never gonna have to worry about it. But Arizona State? Like yeah man, I don’t think a game against TCU or whoever will do much to excite the base.

I know people think “wow new teams, how exciting!” But in reality, regionality made the sport. It is why the sport was as popular as it’s been. This Houston/Utah game, would be fun in week 2 but now it’s a conference game and Eccles is loud but… idk man. Feels flatter

Yes, yes. You can point to the BYU/UCF game as the opposite but UCF has never really been in a regional conference before. They don’t have that history. BYU was in the mountain west but always saw themselves as better than. So again— it’s different for everyone.

Again— people in Dallas dont care about a game against Cal. No matter how good they are, there zero in common from a school/sports standpoint, they’re in a conference that makes zero sense for them to be in together. Same reason why the Stanford game had like 12 people last night

Why is there nobody at the SMU-Cal game? Attendance looks horrific. You’re a top-25 team!

And every spot is different, right? Like Oregon? Football culture so yeah you may show up for the Nebraska game because “oh man that’s cool we play them now” but some day, you will look back and wish you were playing Utah instead of Illinois.

I’ve decided to adopt New Mexico as my only other team to give a shit about this year.

That was the most fun I’ve had watching an FSU sporting event in what feels like 3 years

Cool moment for UCF, neither one of these staffs deserve a W though 😭

It’s one bad year but probably time to at the very least ask questions about Dan Lanning

Even the players, they also had dumbassery in this.

Crazy coaching decisions, clueless refs and oblivious commentators … this BYU-UCF game has it all!!!

BYU has always been a dirty football team and they’ve gotten away with it for a long time. Hope the unsportsmanlike costs them

Again— what is the point of Stanford fans (fairly, they don’t have a huge base that shows up) caring or investing in a game against NC State? A school with zero in common and on the other side of the country
