Happy Birthday, Frank Hurley! 📸❄️🎉 Frank Hurley was the pioneering photographer behind the incredible images of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance expedition to Antarctica (1914–17). These are some of the photographs that survived the gruelling expedition & made it back home.

In Reception we’re being inspired by the explorer #ErnestShackketon who dreamt big at six years old and followed his dreams as an adult. He is helping us to REACH for our goals by being Resilient, Engaged, Ambitious, Creative and Healthy (REACH). @shackletonteach

Year 6 visited the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. We enjoyed seeing an original stopwatch from The Titanic as well as artefacts and clothing from Shackleton’s legendary expedition in Antarctica.
