Thanks to @AndrewBoitchenk for facilitating and hosting an informative discussion with @JordanWalkerAB from Invest Alberta. Looking forward to working together to advance our economies.
This evening, 27 October, Parkland County鈥檚 newly elected Council was officially sworn into office. I look forward to working with Council to advance priorities and capitalize on opportunities that support our businesses, residents, and the rural way of life.
On this incredibly important day for Parkland County, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude. First and foremost, thank you to my amazing parents, who instilled in me and my siblings the values that continue to guide us every day. #integrity /1
A very special thank-you goes out to my door-knocking team. You showed up every day with energy, humour, and heart. You laughed with residents, spent time in their homes, witnessed the unexpected, and, for one of you, even endured an experience that led to a hospital visit. /4
It's Election Day! Reminder that polls are open from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. If successful in receiving your support and being given the honour to once again serve as Parkland County Mayor, I will work hard to rebuild the trust that's been absent over the past four years. /1
Council must lead by example and be sensitive to the realities people are facing, especially considering the current affordability crisis. Congrats to all candidates who are seeking to serve community & a big thanks to the election workers in Parkland County. #accountability
Investing in Infrastructure for the Future: The county鈥檚 infrastructure needs attention and must keep up with the growing population. That鈥檚 why I鈥檓 committed to modernizing our roads and investing in high-speed internet access for all residents. /1
Enhancing Community Engagement: Your voice matters in Parkland County! I believe in transparent leadership & open communication. As mayor, I鈥檒l work to ensure that every resident has a chance to share their ideas, concerns & aspirations for our community. #CommunityEngagement /1
Creating meaningful, effective ways to empower residents & businesses to inform Council & administration of their priorities is crucial to building a more sustainable and resilient community - your voice will be heard every step of the way.

Over the last four years property taxes have been rising, but transparency is missing. I鈥檓 committed to restoring trust by making the budgeting process open & understandable. I鈥檒l implement a detailed notice similar to that used in @townofokotoks with links and breakdowns.
