Uniforms? The Ducks still do that. But the Big Ten isn't exactly getting the blur offense when Oregon joins the fray. That doesn't mean it's any less effective. i-5corridor.com/p/oregon-loo…

Chatted with Timbers GM Ned Grabavoy yesterday about Portland's roller-coaster of a season and asked him how he was feeling after Portland's winless streak reached nine games back in May. "Calm," he said. He explains why here: i-5corridor.com/p/how-calm-a…

To my untrained eye, it seems like Evander and Jonathan Rodriguez are starting to sync for the Timbers. Said Evander: "It’s easy to play with him because all he wants is deep balls. He likes to run." i-5corridor.com/p/despite-ml…

Despite MLS 'hate,' the Portland Timbers' stars are shining

Between Evander and Jonathan Rodriguez, Portland's best players are beginning to peak.

The Oregon men finally got to dance again. With a strong returning nucleus and some big-time portal additions, @shane_hoffmann writes that these Ducks are more than ready to tango with the Big Ten. This is the @OregonMBB State of the Hardwood: i-5corridor.com/p/state-of-t…

One of the Thorns’ superpowers is drafting extremely well. It looks they might have found another gem in Linnehan. What a wallop. #BAONPDX

If you spot a matte black Dodge Challenger cruising around Portland, the man behind the wheel may just be the best attacking midfielder in MLS. Good look at “Magic Man” Evander from @shane_hoffmann: oregonlive.com/timbers/2024/…

The cleats of Timber great Diego Valeri have yet to be truly filled since the midfielder’s 2022 transfer. Evander may be the closest the city has had since.

Bummer for On3 and the UO media group. Jarrid works his ass off and — don’t tell him this — is a joy to be around.

Some personal news: this week is my last with On3. Couldn’t be more excited for what comes next — will have some details on that soon. For now, thanks a ton to everybody who has tuned into my Oregon coverage over the past few years. It’s been a blast.

Watkins’ scoring has buoyed the Trojans’ march to the Portland Regional, but she has more quietly crafted a case as USC’s most disruptive defender.

“While Watkins’ scoring punch has buoyed the Trojans’ march to the Sweet 16— where they’ll face No. 5 seed Baylor — she has more quietly gone about crafting a case as USC’s most disruptive defensive playmaker.” Love this from @shane_hoffmann … JuJu is SUCH a good defender.

While women's college basketball is as popular as it's ever been, Oregon's girls basketball teams are feeling a little bit of that trickle-down effect.
