Hi, ER Doc here.
RT if you’ve ever done CPR on someone and they survived.
Trying to prove something.

Congratulations to the winner of the famous Northwestern 🫀Young Investigator Forum, Dr. Jelani Grant, the inaugural Lebron/Lamar Preventive Cardiology Fellow! I bet the celebration at his upcoming wedding will be even more raucous in a few weeks. #🥍🏏🏀🏈⛳️🏃♀️
Tweeting this for public accountability: I will never be a dismissive, passive aggressive consultant that makes the primary team twist my arm to see patients ✨ 🤞🏽

A 1st year medical student who is 25 years old doesn't get to practice medicine independently until they are at least 32. PAs and NPs who start at the same age get to practice by 27. Then for those next 5 years the mid-levels enjoy a nice salary while med students take on more loans and residents work for below minimum wage. Who wouldn't be disheartened?
Medical students are dispirited by seeing nonphysician providers with less training than they have already delivering care. Learn more. spr.ly/6018PYeEn
I have the best job in the world because of these amazing people. First block on the O ✅ #oslerpride
Can’t wait to share some QI work at the AHA meeting in November! So incredibly thankful for my mentors & team. This is going to be great! 🫀
