The reported manpower requirement of around 3,000 posts from only a limited number of Ministries/Departments deserves serious consideration. What is the requirement across the entire Government?

CSS runs much of the Central Government's administrative machinery — on an 8+ year-old pending cadre review.
Changing drivers won't fix an engine that needs overhaul. Review the cadre.

A government file has no career to lose.
An officer has. Along with a file, an officer is waiting for eight years, for the next stage of career already earned.
Administration must remembr the differenc.

8 years is not a delay. 8 years without resolution is a failure of administration. CSS has waited long enough for its 4th Cadre Review. We ask for no privilege. We ask for the machinery of govt to move.
