Rarely can one feel certain that what's between the pages will be as beautiful, rich, and moving as a cover image like this. With @RobGMacfarlane, it is a safe bet. Cannot wait for this to come out.

Always thrilling to see our graduate students receive the recognition they so richly deserve!
I was so excited yesterday evening about this recognition from CTCF. Hoping to create more scholarship in the near future as a historian of modern China.

I can’t emphasize enough how legitimately radical it is on labor for the president of the United States to come out as opposed to Taft-Hartley

As an educator who encourages young(er) people to speak up despite their "shaky voices," I think this is an awful take. I watched this call with my 10 yr old daughter so she could see what it looks like to show up for your values. That's not called cringe, that's called bravery.

Like all good writing, this essay helped me see the world differently than I do through the lens of my own experience. Give it a few minutes of your time and, if you often let your doggo run off-leash in shared spaces, think about maybe...not?
Proud papa moment: my son, who has non-speaking autism (and whom we were told only had an IQ of 40) just wrote his first essay--on disability rights, no less. Please read & retweet! @tomzoellner @ThePublicSquare @comm4allorg @autism @AtlasForAutism zocalopublicsquare.org/2024/…

The present is terrible! Retreat to the past! Read this excellent new contribution to the way we understand the intersection (ahem) between technology and empire by my colleague @AndyDenningHist
