If you’re in the top 100 you can set scores and clip them, post them anywhere and have the community talk about you (via CPOL or reddit perhaps) it’s all about consistency and grinding so I agree with Andy’s take The smartests one move away outside of osu! to be big (like BTMC)

Even as a Nominator you can do stuff (see Log Off Now clipping every funny moment on his streams). You are a known player and mapper/modder, comparing yourself to mrekk is stupid in the first place as it is the equivalent of comparing gym physique with someone with better genes.

The current era of clipping makes it easier to get started in the CC sphere though, while you missed it I kinda always felt you could’ve done something when you were popping off with replays that were considered insane at the time. Start streaming and make clips and get it going

Since 2012, there is a mapper that had been / is still ranking beatmaps of songs done by the same artist over and over. 14 years of mapping AND ranking only one artist you like is some incredible dedication jesus christ. I have massive respect towards this person, iykyk
