Ask any trauma survivor: it can be SO hard to actually accept, experience, sit with, or process the experience of being loved or valued. We're waiting for the other shoe to drop. For the big reveal. To realize it was all a scam. We come by those abandonment fears honestly.

I choose trauma recovery because if I have to engage w/ my past, it's gonna be on my terms, at my pace, for my reasons-- not the intrusive, chaotic sh*t show of trauma responses that ruined my life & relationships for years. To be in control, I had to surrender.

Sometimes we don’t see danger in others & it’s not because we are naive, but because we believe in goodness. We are reflecting what we would do for others & harming them is not on that list. Cheers to those who still believe in the good in others, even though they’ve been hurt.

I do not live in fear of the storm, I am the storm. We are all a force of nature. There is no need to fear things we should embrace. Fear is an illusion. The things that enslave us were meant to empower us. #FYP #quote #healthy #Health #mentalhealth #Truth #facts #Motivation
