ideally my solution wouldnt be their removal or the deeply impersonal gen 7 ride pkmn system that sucked for different reasons but havin to do challenges to earn those moves as an external moveset sorta thing w/ a TM of the moves still existing in the world as an option

pokemon fans dont engage w/ the games mechanics or non battle systems esp when a lot of ppl have only ever played these games on an emulator nd not in the pick up nd play GBA/DS form factor they were designed around which is why the discourse round HGSS is so dumb
these games do have problems (not doin gym freedom as well as gen 1, not fixin move/mon distro esp on rocket grunts, lvl distro in kanto bein weird) but intentionally not bein designed round zoomin thru em nd u missin out on whats offered if u choose to do that isnt 1 of em
if were not gonna do a balance patch yet can we at least be allowed ban new heroes i actually cant with this harrow + baba shit anymore
