Sometimes, a whisper from a misty village in Malnad is enough. Thrillers are probably the most tried-and-tested genre out there, and yet, when one gets it right, it feels fresh all over again. That's exactly what @Janardhan_11 pulls off here, he delivers a tight, engaging crime drama that's packed into a neat two-hour runtime without ever dragging. From the first frame, the film catches your eye. @AdvaithaAmbara 's cinematography is just stunning, every shot feels purposeful, moody, and rich in texture. The transitions are slick too, thanks to Bharath MC’s razor-sharp editing. But the real star for me, @charanrajmr2701, his background score is an experience on its own, so atmospheric and precise. The man just gets thrillers. Hats off! Set in a sleepy village in Malnad, the story unfolds in layers. The first half especially had me completely locked in. There's this slow burn that keeps building, and just when you think you've figured it out, it shifts gears. The screenplay is tight, the writing knows where it's going, and the tone is consistent throughout. The cast is another big win. Rangayana Raghu, Ravishankar Gowda, Pavana, Sharath Lohithashwa, Sidhu Moolimani, each one brings something real to the table. No one feels out of place. It's one of those rare ensemble films where everyone fits. That said, the film does lose a bit of steam towards the end. The pre-climax starts to wobble, and the climax didn’t land as strongly as I hoped. It's not bad, but after such a gripping build-up, I was expecting a little more punch. Still, all said and done, this is a really solid watch. If you're into crime thrillers with layered narratives and strong performances, this one's absolutely worth catching in theatres. And lastly, a big thanks to @hemanthrao11 for producing this gem. It’s not every day you come across a thriller this well made. I really hope @DakshayaniTalki keeps bringing us more such rooted, engaging stories in the future. We need more of this kind of cinema.
