Welcome to world-monitor.com, where you don't read the world, you monitor it.

For those wondering, the Vikings haven't allowed a fourth quarter point since Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

SEVEN CARS STUCK BEHIND ONE RENTAL ON INDEPENDENCE PASS!!
Nervous tourist doing their best, or should they have pulled over?
Fall colors on Independence Pass. The person filming is stuck behind a gray SUV that keeps drifting over the yellow line on the curves. Her text says if you don't know how to drive in the mountains, don't get a rental car, and she counts the line of cars backing up.
Being a Colorado guy, I have some sympathy for both cars. That road is skinny, there's rock on one side and nothing on the other, and if you're from somewhere flat it's terrifying. Go slow, nobody really minds. Drifting into the oncoming lane on blind curves is the part that gets people hurt, though. There are pullouts up there for exactly this. Use one, wave the line through, and go back to enjoying the aspens.
Any time I picture my kids in the back seat on a road like that, the car hugging the center line is the one that worries me.
Pullouts are free.
