Herzog is pushing to avoid another election as both camps scramble for partners, and the opposition's math just got harder: Avigdor Lieberman, whose Yisrael Beiteinu sits in the anti-Netanyahu camp, has reportedly cut contact with Eisenkot, Bennett and Lapid and told Channel 12 he will not, under any circumstances, join or support a government that depends on Arab seats.
Some of the protesters are urging the opposition to work with Palestinian parties anyway, which is exactly the coalition Lieberman just vetoed.
Street pressure is growing, but any deal still faces the coalition math that has kept Netanyahu in power for years, and tonight that math has one fewer way out.
