Right now, in Hospitality, if you are breaking even, you are doing well.
Many operators aren't even taking a wage.
Jobs are being lost.
Tomorrow, they get hit with the Business Rates Increase, just another stealth tax.
A reduction in VAT is the only way to resolve this mess.

The Chancellor stood up during her Budget speech and said she was helping the British Pub.
In fact she introduced a stealth tax costing the British pub £380 million over the next three years.
She has called last orders on many pubs across the UK.

This Budget is the latest blow for hospitality, with an increased annual tax bill of £3 bn.
However, the Chancellor announced from 2026/27 there will be a permanently lower level of business rates for hospitality; one of our key asks.

Sad to hear the news about Bill Arthur.
Lovely chat on the walk when he was already battling. Rest in Peace Bill #ProstateCancer
Bill also walked alongside @SkySports colleague and friend, @JeffStelling, during two of his marathon Football Marches.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
Rest in peace, Bill 💙
