The roughing the passer call on Benjamin Perry is horrendous. (How else should Perry tackle a quarterback jumping up toward him?) The call led to an immediate Wake touchdown. The Clev Lubin penalty is also nonsense.
Both of these were called roughing the passer on Louisville 🫣 Right calls? 🤔

Imagine an ad-free three-hour YouTube video called “500 Greatest University of Louisville Football Plays of All Time, Ranked (in 4K).” Lamar jukes, Dumervil sacks, Sam Madison picks, IB rushes, Unitas tuddies. #louisvillefootball #gocards #l1c4

I hate that we discourage earnestness in people. Everyone wants to appear nonchalant and unfazed. You're supposed to fear cringiness at all costs, everything's supposed to be a joke. This lady is honestly just exhibiting basic empathy...

This is exactly what the waterfront of a major U.S. city with 650,000 residents should look like, no notes. 10/10.

They didn’t post it on Twitter so I’m posting it here because this is one of my favorite @LouisvilleMBB videos ever

Who did Erichtho send Virgil to retrieve from the ninth circle? And why? In Inferno 9, lines 25–27 (Lombardo translation), Virgil says: “My flesh had not been long stripped from me when [Erichtho] forced me to slip within these walls and fetch a soul from the circle of Judas.”

Hiding likes has revealed how entirely unmoored my beliefs are. No sense of cohesion. I am liking things and then hours later liking quote tweets dunking on the very same thread. Not sure I even believe things at all anymore.

Not enough adults are understanding that they have to create moments of happiness in their lives. Find things to be excited about. Create plans to look forward to. Decorate the house during holidays. Make a playlist you only listen to on Tuesdays. Keep your favorite snacks stocked in case of a bad day. You have more control over your joy than you think.

Match my freak, Brazil! 🫶
Gente?! O Frazier History Museum, localizado no estado do Kentucky (EUA), postou um vídeo explicando a origem da frase "Match My Freak". Tinashe é uma cidadã do Kentucky, estado onde ela nasceu. É ela literalmente fazendo história!

Garrison Keillor’s slow delivery never amused me, so the raucous laughter of the Prairie Home Companion’s studio audience always left me feeling out of the loop and slightly annoyed. Maybe this time will be different! 🤞
Got a bad feeling about the future:

As an editor, I see this a lot: a writer uses future continuous tense when future simple tense is an acceptable and, I would argue, better alternative. I can’t explain why it’s better, though! Is it just vibes?

FYI. @dsa_louisville scores what I believe is their first ever electoral win in #Louisville with member @JPLyninger, who will likely be seated on Metro Council next year given how heavily Democratic #LouDistrict6 is currently. A write-in candidate is also a longshot.

The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office confirms all votes are counted except provisional ballots. All Metro Council incumbents have won their primaries except District 6’s Phillip Baker who has been beaten by DSA-endorsed @JPLyninger. In D4, Ken Herndon rises above huge field.
