Barcelona the better side and their quality is undeniable, but can't help but feel Villa did not give the best account of themselves. Caused their own downfall with the opening goal, which could have happened a few more times when playing out from the back. Lacked precision when they did create dangerous openings and generally felt as if players played within themselves. But 9 points from 12 is excellent, with tonight far from defining Villa's campaign - another experience they'll learn from too. They're in a good position.
