🚨 | BREAKING: New information reveals that Florida State has a STRONG chance of winning the lawsuit against the ACC... FSU's lawsuit against the ACC seeks to invalidate the conference's Grant of Rights, which would reduce the buyout for leaving the conference to ZERO 😳 This would save the university over half a billion dollars, so it's clear how IMPORTANT this lawsuit is... now here's where the ACC really messed up: In 2016, the ACC signed a 11 year TV deal with ESPN, currently set to expire in 2027. This deal also gave ESPN the option to extend the contract from 2027-2036 on the same terms financially... ESPN had to decide by 2021 whether they would extend from 2027-2036, but ACC commissioner Jim Phillips extended that deadline to February 2025 in a formal amendment that he allegedly signed ON HIS OWN... 👀 The ACC bylaws currently require approval from 2/3rds of all members for any amendments, making this action by Phillips a VIOLATION.
