More than a zettahash of computing power competes for 450 Bitcoin every day.
Nobody can vote themselves a bigger share.
You plug in more machines or you get less.
Inflation isn't going away.
Paul Tudor Jones in 2024: “All roads lead to inflation. I’m long gold. Long Bitcoin. Long commodities. Long Nasdaq. Zero fixed income.”
He reiterated in April 2026 that Bitcoin is “unequivocally the best inflation hedge, more than gold” because of its fixed supply.
In 2020 he made the same call and Bitcoin went on to rally 7x over the next 18 months.
You can position for inflation...or pay for it.

Mining at home on 15¢ power? The chart says you'd almost certainly be better off just buying BTC 😬
So I dug in: Simple Mining just released a slick profitability heatmap, and I spent hours pulling data off it because I wanted to see where mining actually wins. Then I mapped it against every US state's industrial power price ⚡
- - -
Above ~10¢, buying wins in every scenario.
Above ~8¢, mining only wins if the network shrinks.
Below 8¢ is where mining gets a real shot.
Only 16 of 51 states average under 8¢. The rest of the country is priced out before the machine even turns on.
That's why I partnered with Simple Mining: 11 Iowa data centers at 6.5-8.0¢ ALL-IN, below the average industrial rate in 50 of 51 states. No site, no cooling, no electrician 🔌
(Assuming: S21 XP, 2-year hold, BTC on trend, EIA 2026 data.)
I put together a page with them just for you guys. Free mining course, a free 7-day trial, or book a call. Link in the reply 👇

Waking up for work at 6am because you spent 2011 gaming on a graphics card instead of mining with it.

Would you let a robot watch your kids?
Right now it has read access.
Eventually it gets write access.
Before you sign a Bitcoin mining hosting contract, ask five questions:
1. Does billing stop when the machine stops hashing?
2. What does the all-in rate cover?
3. Who gets paid when the grid curtails the site?
4. Are my serial numbers on the title, and can the host's lender put a lien on them?
5. What does it cost to leave?
Those are 5 of the 27 on our hosted mining checklist.
Drop a comment and we'll send you the full list.

bitcoin up 1.5% today to $84,216, up 33% since August, and the miners running $0.07/kWh Iowa power haven’t had to time a single entry to capture any of it
that’s the part of the mining thesis most people miss. when spot moves from $63k to $84k, every coin you produced along the way sits at an average cost basis well below market.
miners don’t buy the dip — they mine through it and let the dollar keep devaluing their production costs relative to what they’re accumulating.
Simple Mining locks that rate in: 40,000+ ASICs across 10 data centers in Cedar Falls, free labor the first 12 months, and the 100% bonus depreciation still in effect means the full equipment cost comes off your taxes in year one.
debasement keeps running. the only variable is how many sats you’re holding when it accelerates.

“Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.”
Henry Ford would disagree.
In 1921 he wanted to replace gold with an “energy currency.”
Thomas Edison backed the idea and pitched money tied to the power of a dam in Alabama.
Now Elon Musk says currency will end up measured in wattage.
A century apart, they landed in the same place.
Bitcoin already works this way: every unit is paid for with energy through proof-of-work, and the network secures more than $1.5 trillion of monetary value.
Calling it backed by nothing just means you haven’t done your research.
Forget flying cars for a second.
Elon said “money becomes irrelevant” and currency will end up measured in wattage.
Every Bitcoin ever mined cost real energy.
Nobody can print more bitcoin:native .
Pretty sure it's the money he’s describing.

In case you missed it, the biggest Bitcoin miners are leaving the network
and every miner who stays gets paid for it.
Network hashrate is 26% below its ATH for a reason
Part of it was machines losing money. Part of it was power getting outbid.
Now look at it from the perspective of someone still mining.
Bitcoin issues the same number of coins every day no matter how many machines compete for them.
When difficulty fell due to decreased competition, each machine left on the network earned about 20% more bitcoin on the same power bill.
and hashrate that migrates to a 20 year lease does not come back when the price recovers.
the bailout for big miners is the bull run for everyone still plugged in
watch
Imagine working 9-5 for 50 years then The Fed prints 40% of the total money supply and inflates away 20 years of your work.
Elon Musk found 14 computers in the federal government that can send money out of nothing.
Most of them sit at Treasury.
You traded hours of your life for the dollars in your account and every time Washington spends money it doesn’t have, those hours buy less groceries.
One keystroke on their end and your paycheck gets weaker.
Bitcoin has no magic computer.
Every block costs energy and machines running around the clock, and nobody in Washington can skip that step.
This is why we Bitcoin.
Your miner could find a $257,000 block tomorrow.
It could also take 68 years.
That’s the math behind solo mining.
On October 11 a solo miner hit block 970,904 and took home 3.129 BTC.
For every miner who gets that day, plenty more never will.
One S21 XP runs about 270 TH/s, and the network runs near 970 EH/s. On its own, that machine would wait about 68 years on average for its first block.
In a pool, the same machine earns a share of every block the pool finds.
Your sats add up daily, in line with the work your machine puts in.
If your goal is to accumulate Bitcoin, the second version is the one you can plan around.
You get Bitcoin landing in your own wallet every week while solo miners are still waiting on luck.

What it costs to build 1 megawatt of capacity, according to the CEO of the largest public Bitcoin miner:
Bitcoin mine: $5 million
AI data center: $40 million
The AI build costs roughly 8 times more before anyone earns a dollar.
It explains why public miners quit buying machines and started chasing AI leases.
All i'll say is when the biggest buyers leave a market, the people who stay get their best entry price in years.
