We're announcing the public beta of datavendor.ai We spent the last two years building the best solution for people buying and selling data, whether you're a researcher in a lab or a company trying to sell data. Data is the fundamental bottleneck for AI progress, and DataVendor will be the infra that solves it.

How fast is AI's research taste improving? We find that the experimental research taste of frontier models has doubled every ~3 months since December 2025. The best model, Opus 5.5, now exceeds our expert human baseline. Our human experts are experienced researchers, but most haven’t worked at a frontier lab. Why measure research taste? In the AI Futures Model, it largely determines how quickly artificial superintelligence is reached once coding is fully automated.

1/ Asteroid is featured in Anthropic's Computer Use launch post! Massive kudos to both the @AnthropicAI and @asteroid_inc teams. As early-access participants in Anthropic's new computer use tool, we tested and deployed it into the most challenging healthcare systems. Seriously impressed! 🧵

The world's data centers can't move fast enough. We build the agents to fix that. Today Build launches with $8.5M from @IndexVentures, @Pebblebed (co-founders of OpenAI and Meta AI Research) and angels including the CFO of OpenAI and CTO of Blackstone. It's time to Build.

"We're reinventing the wheel on browser agents." - 10 healthtech CEOs, May 2026 Their eng. teams spend months reverse-engineering payer portals and EHR flows... for something they never wanted to build. So we wrote a builder's atlas for teams shipping healthcare automation in production. Deep dive, healthcare interoperability with AI. Blog in the comments!!

I'm an investor, I get all of their updates - and just to be clear, they've never once reported "ARR" to investors. Given that this premise is false, consider doing the right thing and taking this post down? The founders are doing great, growing like a weed, and don't deserve this.

Dreams on Claude Managed Agents are exactly what our prod browser agents have been missing. Reliability in healthcare workflows is P0 for us @asteroid_inc. This will unlock a different tier of what we can ship Great day at Code w/ Claude SF. ty @AnthropicAI @ClaudeDevs @bcherny

RT @MlcochDavid: Browser agents are overhyped, which makes builders pissed when they underdeliver. But most are built wrong. So I wrote d…

We gave an AI a 3-year retail lease in SF and asked it to make a profit. The AI interviewed and hired full-time employees, applied for credit, and stocked the store with the books Superintelligence and Making of the Atomic Bomb. Visit Andon Market at 2102 Union St now.

I met Nick Land a few weeks ago. He mentioned that many people in his circles were anti-LLMs. Someone asked why he thought so many people were. His answer was better than anything so short I thought of: “People like to exist critically with respect to something.” This I think accurately characterizes a lot of people whose outputs and inputs primarily consist of “discourse” about rather than direct contact with the reality at hand. Existing critically with respect to something makes it easy to seem cool, sophisticated, above something, hard-to-impress and therefore worth trying to impress, especially to others who also don’t have contact with the phenomena itself. And for that reason I think it’s cheap. And to someone who has an inside view of what is being discussed, it’s always so transparent and boring and compressible. I’m far more impressed by someone who is capable of loving something and showing others why it’s beautiful or good. Doesn’t have to be LLMs, but anything at all.

AGI—superintelligence on tap—will be here soon, but how will it do physical work? Equipped with a phone and a camera, our office AI hired a human to assemble a gym. Here's how it went, and what we learned about creating a future with AI employers good for humans.

We put our AI vending machines at @WSJ to let the team take a glimpse into the future AI-run economy. The outcome was hilarious, as you can see in their YouTube video and article. Thanks to @JoannaStern and team for participating!

We're wildly unprepared for the pace of change in AI, so I'm excited to have recorded a 5-part AI miniseries for @RestIsPolitics with @RoryStewartUK exploring the tech, where it's going and what it means Rory and I have v different POVs, so it's a fun series of conversations...

Browser agents used to be for engineers only. Not anymore. Astro from @asteroid_inc is an AI agent builder for the hardest legacy portals, letting anyone automate them in minutes. Proven in healthcare, insurance, and finance. Congrats on the launch, @MlcochDavid & @simulated_land! ycombinator.com/launches/OzN…

Last year my son got a job offer from OpenAI in San Francisco $450,000 total compensation While my whole family was celebrating, I sat in my basement analyzing the offer Something wasn't clicking for me First of all, $450k is an impossible amount to make Will my son be required to perform illegal activities to earn that salary? But that's not the worst I looked at pension contributions "We offer a 401k match" I had never heard of a 401k I did some research and nearly vomited It's a retirement account that depends on the stock market His entire future would depend on gambling I called the OpenAI recruiter on behalf of my son and declined the offer Fast forward a year, my son now works at SAP making a crisp €47,000 a year He has 32 days paid vacation and his pension is guaranteed by the state My wife keeps saying I "threw his life away" She could not be more wrong I actually saved his life from being destroyed by America

Building browser agents takes too long. (And most other agents aren’t much better.) There’s still no tool that lets non-technical experts build complex, multistep browser agents. Prompts break. Edge cases explode. Teams get frustrated. People don’t want to build agents, they want to manage them like employees. Next week, that finally changes.

You add AI to your product. It works… kind of ... until it needs to do real work. Then the “annoying” customer asks:
