Starc deserved those figures; he may be elegant to look at as a bowler but he bowled fast and with effort throughout his spells...

This could be the cantankerous old bastard talking, but if Khaya Zondo - whose insights I've enjoyed throughout the series - talks about the Proteas having been 158 for zero one more time, I'm writing a letter of complaint to SuperSport, the BCCSA and the Cricket Ombudsman...😂😂

Apart from confirming what the rest of us have always suspected - that they don't work or go to school down there - this vibey Cape Town crowd is fitting of what is shaping up to be a proper series decider...

Poor Jansen, he has to save us again...😂😂😂 That said, credit to the Aussies for pulling the potentially disastrous decision to bowl back from the brink...

Can't stand Marnus braying into the stump mic, Proteas are gonna have to do all of us a solid here...😂

These three quick wickets are the most Proteas thing I've seen. Funny how Biff and Polly saw the lax post-lunch attitude coming...

This is the most bedraggled I've ever seen Australia on a cricket field.

By a mile the greatest sporting story of the week (that no one actually watched) theguardian.com/sport/2026/o…

Bavuma’s nine-hour masterpiece was art we risk losing in South Africa’s Test purge | Barney Ronay

T20 franchise cricket is trash sport and killing the red-ball game is cultural vandalism. What would George Orwell have made of this?

20 years ago, Mick Lewis led the Aussies' attack against South Africa. This is how he handled going for 0-113 from his 10 overs 🫣😎 #TheFrontBar 📺

110-6 on 2nd morning. 135 overs lost to rain. Yet Proteas won by an innings & 31 runs. Remarkable Test. Temba Bavuma’s innings obviously the single biggest contributing factor. But Jansen with bat & ball, & all the bowlers, coupled with sensational fielding, played massive part.

Your highest Test score when your team is in trouble against that attack....ya mense. This is a 'groot man' knock.

Temba Bavuma is doing Temba Bavuma things. It's a good moment to remind you guys of this piece I did with @ajarrodkimber share.google/DLMXCWjP4ffrwCT…

Temba Bavuma walks, so others can follow

Wrong colour, wrong build, bullied, mocked. He went viral for memes about his height. And emerged as a leader of the highest stature.
