ODYSSEY I WAS NEVER YOURS TO BREAK.. My second music video from ODYSSEY. Once again, with my own voice. When I started creating my nearly 15-minute film with Grok and Grok Bot, I had no idea how deeply this story would become a part of me. I spent countless hours living inside this world. Thinking about its characters. Imagining their lives. Feeling their losses. And when the film was finished, I couldn’t quite say goodbye. So I made a music video. And now I’ve made another. Maybe because somewhere along the way, I stopped seeing Odysseus as a king or a legend. I started seeing him as a father. A man who left home believing he would return soon. A man who lost ten years of his life fighting a war he never wanted. And somewhere across the sea, his little boy was growing up without him. There’s one line in this song that breaks my heart. “IF OUR LITTLE BOY HAS GROWN TOO TALL, WILL HE KNOW MY VOICE AT ALL?” Imagine finally coming home after everything you’ve survived… And being afraid that the child you love more than anything might not recognize your voice. I think that’s what makes this story so powerful to me. Not the battles. Not the victories. But all the ordinary moments that were taken away. A child’s first steps. A thousand mornings together. The simple happiness of being home. I don’t know how to explain what creating ODYSSEY has meant to me. At times, I felt as though I had devoted my entire life to this film. And somehow, even after finishing it, I still had more of this story inside me. So here it is. Another piece of ODYSSEY. Created with Grok and Grok Bot. And once again, told through my own voice.
