.@SkySports your commentator on the Everton vs Wolves game keeps talking about Bertrand Traore’s performance tonight despite him being on the bench.
The player he is referring to is in fact Boubacar Traore.
Fix up.

If I overlaid all of this onto Bugzy Malone’s rise, we’d be here all week.
A British aspirational story. Hard earned, self-made rags-to-riches journey, introspective music, his proximity to boxing, and a path a working-class lad can actually recognise. From an early life around crime to discipline, ownership and success.
Even the story of him violently defending his family and his castle taps directly into working-class British codes: protect your own and protect your home. Add the reverence for Kray-era gangsterism, and you can draw a direct line from that mythology to him then getting his role in The Gentlemen.
His success works because it doesn’t feel like imported aspiration. It feels distinctly “British”.
All of this and more is why Grime+Drum & Bass will always remain a thing because stylistically they never truly leave the estate and the listeners who remain there.

Latto doesn’t need another chain. But guess who needed the £350 they spent uploading their video to GRM?
The moment we stop glazing US talent and start championing our own is the moment we remove the ceiling for UK artists - especially those outside the major cities.
Couldn’t let @Latto leave empty handed 🤝
Big love to Chiefer for sorting some proper London essentials 🇬🇧

🚨 Birmingham City University’s Black Studies MA is reportedly set to be cut just months after launching.
At a time when Black culture continues to shape modern Britain, what does it say when the spaces dedicated to studying and preserving those histories remain underfunded or under threat?
