Seriously. Very tough ask of a 21 year old still developing his game to drive a line on his own when the team doesn’t even have a real 2C yet.

One of the worst takes I hear is people complaining about Smith away from Celebrini. Caulfield, Gauthier, Robertson, Connor, Keller, all play with play-driving centers and they are successful. Also people need to stop pocket-watching Smith. 2nd best player rn on team w/5 goals

Ryan Warsofsky said he decided tonight to reunite Will Smith and Macklin Celebrini with about a minute and a half left in the second period. "Obviously, we couldn't generate anything, and we've been trying to work with some things within our lines and try to get some chemistry going. And obviously, it wasn't working, and it was just time."

SHOCKING REVELATION FOR THE COACH OF THE SAN JOSE SHARKS: putting your top producing duo back together means they’ll produce and you may win in regulation!

so warso lost his locker room, the lines have no chemistry and the season’s progression so far shows overall decline in quality when there’s supposed to be the opposite effect happening. how much longer will this go on? cause this is getting pitiful and this is wasted potential.

imagine you get a generational superstar and also half a dozen first round picks and decide. Hmm. i’m going to fuck with their development so irreparably. and also. i’m a fat half bald chud that doesn’t even take accountability. i’m also in love with the vets that SUCK EVERY GAME

imagine saying your team of young players who showed up early and started running their own practices like two weeks before training camp even started isn’t willing to work hard and always want to take the easy way out… #SJSharks

how does a team expect to win with a coach who doesn’t think lines matter? chemistry makes or breaks teams. “you have to play this game extremely hard. […] you have to know what you’re doing on the ice in all situations” how about knowing how to coach on and off the ice?

no confident, competent and well respected coach would say this after a loss. its exhausting to constantly see these deflections. he rarely has anything insightful to share and never shows accountability either. maybe his assessments should be more introspective moving forward.

I wish this team could convert on any plays smith makes so people on here could stop debating if he’s nhl worthy
