By the way, if Brock Glenn starts (and don't read anything into that -- I have no inside info on this) and FSU were to somehow win, it would make it virtually impossible to argue that FSU is not playoff-worthy. Clearly this would be a complete team, not reliant on one player.

The stupid is rampant in this BYU-UCF game — players, coaches, refs, announcers.

I think, when you get the ball second, you should always go for 2 if you score to get within 1 point in the first OT. When you kick the PAT you are now at the disadvantage of going first in OT No. 2.

Man there is a lot of dumb football. Like, catch the punt! And don’t throw a 4-yard inbounds check down with one TO left and 35 seconds! Sheesh.

Looks like Oregon will be extending its streak of not winning a football national title since the big bang theory.

Why isn't IU using their timeout?

Refreshing.
NEW: Wake Forest and Jake Dickert are 6-1, and he tells @PeteNakos that financial limitations are no excuse: "The new revenue share has given all coaches excuses. And if it doesn’t work, (you hear), ‘It’s not me. It’s not something I did. It’s not my —’ I just don’t believe them. I don’t believe in that. We know what we have. We’ve got to leverage every cent and resource that we possibly can, and there’s going to be a tremendous amount of sacrifice by everybody. Period." Story: on3.com/news/how-jake-dicker…

One of the most embarrassing moments in the history of American foreign policy.
Steve Witkoff to Putin: You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again.

This is not a hold. Florida State got screwed. This is one of the cleanest traps I’ve seen

Couple of things that upset me about this A) it’s not holding. He chops his arm down and he lost his balance B) this is very important. Holding is only supposed to be called if it could effect the play. The DE is double teamed and the ball is gone at the time of the “holding”. He’s nowhere near the QB. Just an all time bad call. It’s an official looking to be part of the game.
This was the holding call that brought back FSU's miracle catch in the end zone... Did they make the right call?

He used his right arm to chop the defender’s left arm which is what sent him to the ground. Pretty standard technique and legal.
The Florida St offensive holding call was not a foul. The contact by the BYU defender was defensive pass interference.

I would have gone for it the first time and kicked it the second. I would have DEFINITELY kicked against Louisville. But let’s not pretend like these were no-brainer decisions and that, if FSU kicked, that the game would have played out the same.

Three things can all be true: 1) you are proud of the effort and performance by FSU 2) despite that, you are not satisfied with a loss (even one that is the product of corruption) 3) despite THOSE things, you still believe it’s time for leadership changes.

I was too busy watching Louisville and getting ready for the postgame show to comment at the time. It sure looks like FSU got screwed at Miami. Awful stuff from refs who are awful every single week in this conference.

It’s infuriating to see FSU jobbed like that. But the real pain is knowing that the sport that I love has been so obviously corrupted.
