On the conclusion of our two-part STAR WARS prequel series, we find both more AND less middle ground. ATTACK OF THE CLONES and REVENGE OF THE SITH are generally considered the worst and best of the prequels - so naturally, we can’t even agree on that.

My lil tribute/send off to the late evil man himself: Steve Albini
Shellac's 'To All Trains' is as compelling as anything they ever produced and a swan song. In Steve Albini's case, the swan must surely be big, angry, and black.

We welcome back Paul Keelan of @CinematicUnder to discuss the abrasive, deliberately alienating character studies of Rick Alverson. We’re talking 2012’s Tim Heidecker-starring THE COMEDY, and 2015’s Neil Hamburger vehicle ENTERTAINMENT.

So honored to appear on the 50th episode of Watch This List with @amycatherinek! We have a great talk about CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS, its place in Allen's filmography, and its moral/ethical worldview... always tricky territory for this particular filmmaker. tinyurl.com/28vckeut

Very proud of today's episode of Unwatchables, where we get to the bottom of exactly what it's like to watch Salò in 2022. We talk historical context, artistic intent, and whether any of that matters when there's this much scatology.
