JV update - Coach Baud's crew takes center stage tonight in the JV finals vs. Chaminade. 5:30 at Burroughs.
Always great to welcome @Lions OL @Beez_Niese ‘16 back to the pool and honored to have him speak about how important each person is to the success of a team. @SLUHAthletics
A 9-6 win over Stevenson to put the Jr. Bills in the @DukesWaterPolo finals, where they were clipped 13-12 by New Trier. Great weekend of polo and grateful for the hospitality of the IL teams!
Trailing 7-3 at the half, the Jr Bills storm back to tie it 10-10 at the end of regulation before Derek Nester poured home the golden goal for an 11-10 W for SLUH over York. Time for @LouMalnatis!
JV drops final two games 8-5 and 8-6, but lots of even playing time in last part of each game. Terrific experience for all players. Thanks New Trier for hosting!
JV kicks off their season with a 10-7 win over Whitney Young at a New Tier tournament. Way to go, boys!
We're LESS THAN 20 gifts away from passing our 1,163 donor goal.
How about we make it exciting – Whomever makes that 1,163rd gift, you've got a SLUH Water Polo tshirt headed your way this spring. Let's do this!

Let's hope Gerry Glynn '81 is a water polo fan because he's the lucky 1,163rd! Thank you SLUH! #sluhday
In March, he addressed us as a member of the practice squad. Today, he made the 53 man roster of the @Lions. Amazing result of crazy hard work. Good going @Beez_Niese. @SLUHfootball @SLUHAthletics @sluhjrbills
Honored to have #sluhjrbills alumnus @Beez_Niese come to practice and talk about the importance of his wopo background for his success with the @Lions. Amazing experience. #sluhbrotherhood @SLUHAthletics
Congratulations to Nick Zimmerman ’26 on winning the national title with @stlouisareapolo and for taking home the tournament MVP honors.
