MAGA is going to be hunted for sport when the communists retake control of the government apparatus that Trump is preserving.

Civilization collapses when the takers overwhelm the makers. Democracy provides the means by which that imbalance can become law, and eventually dismantle the very institutions established to constrain it.

#5 Churches have to get involved
5 VITAL lessons the Right needs to take home from the midterm elections, or risk actual political extinction: 1. Attacking young white men as lazy basement-dwelling, video-game-addicted bottom feeders weeks before a major election is a colossal mistake. The sheer number of advertisements, social media posts, and offhanded TV comments I saw from right wing politicians, strategists, and personalities making sweeping declarations about Gen Z men as racist, lazy, entitled brats living in their parents' basement & complaining about the economy was SHOCKING. For the past few years, I have been blown away by how many Republican politicians are completely missing the mark when it comes to the affordability concerns rightfully held by our generation, telling us to shut up and buy the $20 burrito and just "stop buying coffee out" to afford a house. Reminder that it was a REPUBLICAN member of Congress, Maria Salazar, who introduced a mass amnesty bill, the "DIGNIDAD Act," this year which would grant 10 MILLION+ illegal immigrants permanent dignity status in our country because it "helps the economy." Meanwhile, there are currently 10 MILLION+ unemployed Gen Z American citizens whose jobs are being outsourced to cheaply (& often illegally) imported labor from other countries & whose affordable housing opportunities are being subsidized for those same illegal immigrants. We are tired of being sold out by Washington, D.C. for our jobs, our housing, and our opportunities because it might save a point or two on our national GDP, & then being mocked for it. As a result, white Gen Z men swung 38 percentage points--THIRTY EIGHT PERCENTAGE POINTS--from the Republican Party to the Democrat Party this cycle. It's virtually unheard of. It's still possible to recapture their energy and excitement to vote for timeless conservative principles--Gen Z men still rank overwhelmingly conservative values as their top political priorities--but do NOT underestimate the value of empowering messaging over cheap attack ads. 2. Candidate quality matters. & probably not in the way you think. As conservatives, people often hear that phrase and think of a candidate who a) served in the military, b) has prior service in government, c) has a law degree, d) has a postcard-picture-perfect family, and e) is genuinely a brilliant political mind. We have to move on from that concept of "candidate quality." People were motivated this cycle to vote for a "God is nonbinary" James Talarico & a "funded by the Muslim Brotherhood" Abdul El-Sayed not because they were particularly sane or even brilliant--but because they were young, attractive, and charismatic. They ran on offense, unapologetically, for their values (even if those values were absolutely crazy). Republicans, on the other hand, put up virtually indistinguishable middle-aged unexciting candidates across the country repeating the same "We'll lower your taxes!!" talking points who were afraid to be LOUD about conservative principles and values in a time we needed to hear them the most, and paid the price for it. Case in point--@realBrandonGill won his district by 11 points as THE most outspoken *conservative* member of Congress who's unafraid to speak publicly about controversial issues like abortion, demographic replacement & immigration, gender transition, etc... in the SAME district James Talarico ran away with 10+ points. The ONLY way that makes sense is if you realize people aren't looking for specific "policy expertise" on the campaign trail so much as they're looking for personalities who are unafraid to campaign on offense for what they believe in. This country needs 1000+ more Brandon Gill candidates, and we need them quickly. 3. Stop apologizing for conservative principles. Conservative "culture war" issues aren't poison to a campaign -- they're deeply needed to motivate voters. Even in the deepest blue states in America today, WILDLY "conservative" ideas passed with flying colors as ballot initiatives. When voters get to determine elections on the issues, the so-called "controversial culture war" topics are still overwhelmingly popular. My home state of Colorado, for example, elected an overwhelmingly blue Congressional map, an entirely blue Senate delegation, and an entirely blue state government--but still managed to pass three insanely controversial "conservative" issues as ballot initiatives: 1 - Banning boys in girls' sports 2 - Banning child gender transition procedures 3 - Life imprisonment without parole for child sex trafficking Washington--yes, WASHINGTON--is expected to pass a similar ban on boys in girls sports as one of the most liberal states in the country, and similar bans passed with flying colors in Arizona and Nebraska. Now flipped blue Kansas managed to pass a citizenship-to-vote requirement by 25+ POINTS. 8 total states did, in fact, manage to pass citizenship &/or voter ID requirements to vote... even deep blue ones--Alaska, Arkansas, Kansas, South Dakota, and West Virginia. Idaho even managed to defeat an abortion-legalization ballot initiative and keep their overwhelmingly pro-life laws on the books. I have no doubt that last minute pro-abortion ads from Michele Tafoya and Mike Rogers DEEPLY hurt their pro-life conservative base in voter turnout, and to be honest making those ads was among the worst political advice I've ever seen in modern politics. Turns out, the American people aren't "out" on the conservative culture war issues--they're just begging for moral clarity from our candidates on them that's nowhere to be found. The lobbyist class in Washington, D.C. BEGS Republican candidates not to touch any of these issues with a 10-ft pole because "yOu MIgHt oFfENd sOMeOnE"--but they are still overwhelmingly motivating and popular among the electorate. It should be a REQUIREMENT that conservative candidates address these issues right out of the gate to motivate their base and increase turnout. 4. It's far past time for a new generation (literally) of leadership. In 2028, the majority of the electorate will be made up of Gen Z and Millennial voters... yet for whatever reason, the GOP has an internal averse reaction to millennial and Gen Z candidates. This cycle, Republicans nominated 23 Baby Boomers to run for Senate seats--and only 2 millennials. Meanwhile, the Democrats put forth 10 millennial candidates for Senate--nearly ALL of whom won, including James Talarico and Abdul El-Sayed. There's a reason young voters are so attracted to the Brandon Gills of the world. They're bold, unapologetic, and have fresh new ideas for how to tackle the issues of today re: artificial intelligence, Internet regulation, modern economic issues, and the attack on the family. When you look at an @realannapaulina and a @MikeAlfonsoWI (who will be our FIRST Gen Z Republican in Congress at just 26 years old!! 🎉) versus a Chuck Grassley or Mitch McConnell, pay VERY close attention to their campaign style and the issues they're willing to confront head on. We HAVE to move beyond the era of "tax cuts and nothing else" if we're able to survive as a political movement and energize what's soon to be the majority of American voters. I would challenge the GOP to nominate an entire slate of candidates for Congress (and frankly the Presidency) in '28 who are all under 40 years old... 👀 5. If the Church doesn't vote, we lose our country. Easily. This cycle, only 17% of Evangelical Christians in America cast a ballot. 17%. 24% of them voted in the 2022 midterms. Both are horrifically underwhelming numbers, but speak volumes about the need to motivate Christian voters to defend our Christian principles on life, the family, and religious liberty in a culture attacking all of the above. Demographics matter in elections, perhaps more than ever before--and if American Christians refuse to participate in our Christian society's elections, we will cease to be a Christian society forevermore. The good news is this--God is still working all things together for good, even if you're frustrated and angry about the outcome of these midterm elections. But we cannot refuse to participate in the process to make this life a little bit more like the next one. We are not of the world, but we ARE "in it," which requires us to roll up our sleeves and get to work. Onward. 🇺🇸

Did yesterday. I make a point to remember the details of each parting hug, because sometime soon it’ll be the last one. And now I’m crying a little.
If you still can, give your mother a hug, or at the very least call her today.

Why wasn't there rioting all year long? Because Trump and the Republicans were giving them nothing to protest.
Because the rioters got exactly what they wanted

Remove Trump
Going to make my long-awaited return in-studio at Fox News tonight to discuss events. What one piece of advice would you give the GOP right now?

The $5,000 offer cost Republicans some votes It was a transparent lie, and 180° counter to what Trump's base wants from government.
Sadly, this would have been a stronger closing argument than $5k dividend checks and complimenting politicians’ posteriors.

You mean Trump keeps getting played like he did with Covid? Literally no one could have predicted this.
Oil Prices Plunge Nearly 8% Just One Day After Midterm Elections Well, would you look at that. Crude oil futures are down nearly 8% today, just hours after the midterm elections. Meanwhile, nothing significant appears to have changed in Iran since yesterday. Funny how that works, isn't it? Almost makes you wonder whether those inflated oil prices were serving a political purpose before Americans went to the polls. But I'm sure the timing is just one big coincidence.

The loss of Charlie weighs heavily It makes me cry to think about the continuing ripple effect of his murder. I am not sure if we will ever fully grasp the affect his leadership was having on the Republican Party and thus the country. His ability to steer the White House in the direction of the concerns of conservatives and independents The unifying effect he had on the conservative movement, somehow unifying the Tucker Carlsons with the Ben Shapiros and the Dave Rubins with the Allie Stuckeys just enough to win elections against an evil party His passion for getting out the vote among his audience and college students We have no replacement right now

I am so immensely thankful that woman lost.
I can’t believe someone thought running Darlene Graham for the U.S. Senate was a good idea.

We avoided the worst possible outcome
Worse case scenario: Republicans hold onto both houses of Congress and then they and Trump keep being worthless Best case: Enough communist crazies win in November to remind Trump and the others what time it is, boosting the possibility of a decent message/candidate in 2028
