San Mateo County has received a request from the Department of Justice seeking information about 328 registered San Mateo County voters. We are reviewing the request in coordination with the California Secretary of State and the County Attorney’s Office.
Our responsibility is to ensure that every eligible voter can exercise their right to vote while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our elections. We remain committed to protecting voters’ rights and administering elections in accordance with the law.
Voting continues as usual for the November 3, 2026 Statewide General Election. As always, you can still return your Vote by Mail ballot by mail, at any official Ballot Drop Box, or at any Vote Center. In-person voting is already available at 10 Vote Centers throughout San Mateo County, and a total of 46 Vote Centers will be open starting Saturday, October 31. Your vote is your voice, and every election is a chance to make it heard!
