FRIDAY NFL Injury Reports are IMPORTANT... Here are some of the BIGGEST to monitor for Week 7: - Puka Nacua (Calf): Puka left practice early on Thursday with what was being labeled as a calf injury. This is a new injury adding to his prior groin injury that held him out for Weeks 2-3 of the NFL season. Important to see what we get today out of him, as he was listed as a "limited" participant already on Thursday. One to monitor for sure. - Saquon Barkley (Hamstring): Barkley was able to return to the practice field on Thursday in a limited fashion. Missing Weeks 5 and 6 due to the hammy injury but looks like there is an outside chance he will get back on the field for the Eagles in Week 7. Today's injury report should be a bit more telling. If he is a go, his chances for suiting up look much better. - Lamar Jackson (Ankle): Lamar was able to get in a very "limited" practice on Thursday and did look a bit ginger on the injured ankle in the video posted of him walking out to the practice field. It is a good sign that he was back at practice, but he for sure is not 100%. This will inevitably likely hurt his rushing upside so be cautious if he is a go for Week 7. If he gets in a full practice today, would feel much better about the situation. - DeVonta Smith (Hamstring): Dealing with the same injured hamstring that kept him sidelined for multiple weeks already and it caused a DNP on Thursday as well. Not a great sign for Smith's outlook heading into the weekend, but today's reports should give a bit more clarity. Team may have just been giving extra time off, but if he is a DNP today, major signs for concern. - Rashee Rice (Hamstring/Knee): Rice missed Week 6 with the dual injuries and now has yet to hit the practice field any for Week 7. Pretty serious doubts here for Rice's availability for this week. Jaylen Royals picked up a ton of more work in Rice's absence last week and him and rookie Cyrus Allen look to be the biggest beneficiaries without Rice. - Mike Evans (Achillies/Ribs): Tale old as time now with Evans not practicing all week but still playing in games. Reminds me of Julio Jones end of career when he would basically do the same. Not practice all week but still suit up. The greats can do that kind of thing. Be interesting to see if he gets in a limited go or better today. - Breece Hall (Quad): Hall was able to return to practice on Thursday for his first time since Week 3. He is not fully out of the woods yet, but reports were seemingly positive about his progression in practice. If he suits up again today, his outlook for Week 7 will look much better but at this point with getting in a Thursday session, he looks primed to return. - David Montgomery (Dust): Monty missed Week 6 and looks like it will remain another absence here in Week 7. Still has yet to log even a limited session, so seems pretty dire that Monty will suit up unless we get something for today. - Emeka Egbuka (Concussion): Emeka hit the injury report on Wednesday with both concussion and a foot injury. He was a DNP on Thursday thus putting his availability for Week 7 in some decent doubt. Will be interesting to see if he progresses any today, but being a DNP this late in the week and seemingly in concussion protocol is not a good sign. - Jeremiyah Love (Ankle): Still dealing with the lingering ankle injury that Love sustained in the first preseason game of the year. Another DNP on Thursday and he has yet to hit the practice field in going on 2 weeks. Status is pretty doubtful at this moment. - Tyler Warren (Groin): Warren was a DNP on Thursday & Wednesday of this week. He already sat out in Week 6's loss to the Titans at home, and now not getting in any practice for Week 7 so far is not a great sign. Will be interesting to see if he gets in anything today.

BIGGEST NFL DFS/Fantasy Week 7 SMASHES/FADES (Main): - SMASH STACK BUCCANEERS @ PANTHERS: Easy one here even with a game total at just 44.5. The Eagle's (Tanner McKee) threw 45 times last week vs this Carolina defense. Aaron Rodgers threw 49 times vs this Buccaneer's defense in Week 6. Baker Mayfield is likely returning here this week and hopefully will boost this offense. We know Carolina is going to put up points, and typically any team that plays them does as well. Hammering the passing game for both squads. - FADE MIAMI DOLPHINS: Just a tough spot here in MetLife Stadium against a decent Jet's defense. Ollie Gordon has been a revelation for this Phin's offense, but overall they are still just not that great. Passing game will inevitably rely on the run game and I don't see it being a big threat here. Willis rushing is interesting. Other than that, I am basically just crossing off Dolphins this week. Game total at just 39.5, I am good in what books think will be a low-scoring affair. - SMASH STACK 49ERS @ FALCONS: We get the 2nd-highest total on the Week 7 board here of 49.5 in a dome with two high-powered offenses. Both defenses have shown nice pressure, but have allowed points, especially the Falcons. Obviously, the Niners are having some woes at WR with injuries. Evans continues to sit all week in practices but tends to suit up still. This go-around he is dealing with a sore achillies, so that is not great among his shoulder and rib injuries. Kittle and CMC easy looks here, Cooks has stepped up with Deebo out. One of Watkins/Cowing will likely get some extra snaps. Leaning Watkins. Penix/Bijan/London main Falcons of course. Can mix in a BRob Jr revenge game? Pitts possibly. Jahan Dotson has come a bit alive over last 3 weeks scoring a TD in 2 of 3 of those weeks. - FADE BROWNS @ TITANS: Do I really need to talk extensively into why this game is a fade? Just cross it off the board. Total sitting at a meager 37.5 points. Both offenses are worth the price of dinner at Arby's. No great appealing options on either side of this game. Just leave it alone and focus on much better environments. - SMASH STACK BENGALS @ RAVENS: This matchup is ALWAYS set up perfectly for fantasy greatness. Ja'Marr Chase LOVES playing against Marlon Humphries (any torching him). Interesting to see if Lamar Jackson will be a go for this game. There is a small bit of optimism but will need to monitor practices to end the week. Either way, CIN D is still CIN D even though their front-seven has gotten a bit better. They are still allowing points. Whether it is Lamar or Snoop Huntley, I still expect Ravens to have success here in a game with a total at 48.5. - SMASH STACK PACKERS @ LIONS: EASILY the chalk matchup of the week and for damn good reason. This Lion's defense is just terrible. T-3 worst ranks in most defensive categories, mostly in the secondary. Jordan Love has been torching opposing defenses over the last couple of weeks with Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. Packers look to be getting Josh Jacobs back this week. Packer's defense is mediocre as well, so Goff here at home will put up points. Highest game total of the week at 53.5. No need to get cute and fade this game in any form, but mixing it in with some other spots is likely the key.

You can’t say Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, or Calvin Johnson. You’re down 5 with 5 seconds left in the Super Bowl. Name a receiver you’re trusting to catch the game-winning touchdown.

Ja'Kobi Lane came back off IR and instantly was rooted back into the offense There was a benefit with Rashod Bateman suffering the shoulder injury Either way, Tez Walker was the direct replace for Bateman. Lane still saw 55% of snaps, nearly 60% routes ran (more like 80% for his snap share), and a 16% target share. Good signs for his ROS outlook.
