All the sheeple are saying it was a plane, but *I* know the truth: it was actually a missile launched at that particular patch of unimportant asphalt for no real reason.
I view the TNG films as a branching reality, a mirror universe in which people eat lead paint from a young age.
Unpopular Opinion: Patrick Stewart made Star Trek worse as his influence over the franchise increased.
My feed is full of Picard clips. Almost none are from the era after the TV finale. There is a reason. The TNG movies kind of sucked. I rank all but First Contact below Final Frontier. First Contact ranks one higher only because it has some entertaining moments if you turn your brain completely off.
Stewart had a major say in the production of Insurrection. The entire movie seemed to be built around trying to get another infamous Picard lecture on film. It was so heavy handed it felt like he was lecturing the audience as if we voted to move the Ba'ku and he was mad at us for it. It was a boring movie ripoff of a not so good season 7 episode.
After Insurrection tanked he gave up his producer role in exchange for a big pay bump to do Nemesis. He did get his dune buggy scene and a chance to do more action stuff though. Nemesis may have been the final nail for Trek movies, but Insurrection built the coffin.
Fast forward to Star Trek Picard, where Stewart held almost all the cards. Trek needed him a lot more than he needed Trek. Almost every bad decision made on that show was to comply with Stewart's demands. Season 3 was better received (it still sucked) because Stewart relented on his demands and it had the benefit of being compared to a season where a Borg infected human literally eats car batteries.
The Jean Luc Picard that everyone fondly remembers has not existed since May 23, 1994. Good things did indeed end.
I like to introduce people to TNG season 1 with a three episode marathon: 1.04 "Code of Honor," 1.03 "The Naked Now," and 1.23 "Skin of Evil." I call it the Tasha Yar Oreo.
You know when Bernie Sanders says "my new tax only applies to billionaires?" That's how you Sam simps sound saying he's only talking about local AI models.
So many people are misunderstanding Sam Altman, what he *actually* said was "if you like your local compute solution, you can keep your local compute solution."
You can tell Sam Altman really stuck his foot in it because it took his groupies a good couple of days to come to his defense.
Some people truly are ungrateful for what they have, I can't believe that Ethan Klein was sleeping around when he had Asenath Waite at home.
How PC Gamers are reacting to the news that the Playstation outsold the XBox and the Switch last month.
Guys, I just won a race. My only competitor was a COPD patient on oxygen. It was a 50 meter dash and I was gassed at the end of it. I won $50 and the entry fee was $100. But the point is I proved the haters wrong.
The British still need to be reminded that their laws no longer apply around the world, and haven't since that time a hungry Indian shamed them into giving it all up.

I typically spend a few minutes tops "setting up" a game on my PC, and that's mostly adjusting the settings to my preference. Where are these "it takes 30 minutes just to get a game running, every time" people coming from?
