Exploring biosolutions innovation to enable the green transition in Europe Last week, we had the honor of hosting Stina Soewarta, Head of Cabinet for EVP of the @EU_Commission, Margrethe Vestager, at our Lyngby headquarters. During the visit, we discussed the following topics: •Nature-based biosolutions: We discussed how biosolutions, inspired by nature, can drive the EU’s green transition as well as contribute to reducing carbon emissions and food waste, amongst many other things •The power of partnerships: Strong collaborations are essential to unlock the full potential of biosolutions. By working together, we can accelerate innovation and create sustainable impact for the EU's transition towards a greener economy. •EU Biotech and Biomanufacturing Initiative: The Commission’s initiative is a significant step forward in supporting a strong European biosolutions sector. A future Biotech Act should be comprehensive and embrace the entire biosolutions sector to avoid fragmentation.
