“You’re a 51 year old guy... you’re not trained to share everything with everybody [...] The first time I read that Tree had listened and journaled about our day, that was emotional, it was giving my story value.”
Grateful to Steve (and to Tree!) for sharing their story with us.
Seeing this logo lockup go live just now reminded me of how grateful I am for sponsors who make products I use and love:

I have referenced an archived version of this JD so many times.
I wish @ivanhzhao or @akothari would bring it back in its original glory. It is one of my all time favorite examples of how to sell the startup dream to designers online.
🥕+🐴→🦄 Hey ya'll, if you know a designer who can code (btw they do exist), please reply to this thread and @ MENTION that person!
Appreciate it!

We have raised a $550M Series E at an $8.8B valuation, led by Atreides.
Every major existing investor is back in, and we’re welcoming Baron Capital, Capital Group, Fidelity, Glade Brook and J.P. Morgan. We picked investors who think in decades. Several of them work with law firms and legal teams every day, so they can see where the work is heading.
Lawyers are moving from AI assistants to agents that do multi-step work. The money goes there. We’re growing our teams across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, and going deeper on the Legora aOS.
Thank you to the 1,000+ people at Legora, and to the 140,000 legal professionals who use what we build.
I say this a lot because I believe it: it’s the best time in history to be a lawyer. We're thankful to be a part of it.

Welcome @ronithhh @polarizz39 @jensrst @interfaceclub!
They’re amongst the handful of teams that care deeply about craft and design
Suffice to say, we’re insanely excited to have them
Can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been cooking
Interface Club has been acquired by @variantui!
So proud of the work the team shipped over the past couple years. Here are some of the highlights:

this week’s episode is easily the most raw convo out of the ~300 I've done…
it's a behind-the-scenes of the @inflight design journey with my co-founder @kbarber
here's what it's actually like designing a startup today 👇

We are creating a new visual grammar for our agentic age with @firstofkind
We once had pixels for design, ASCII and TUI for engineering. Intelligence emerges from tokens, just as mosaics emerge from tiles. Cellular automata of a new kind.

The power of a simple idea, relentless tenacity, a big heart, and brilliant legislative execution. @altcap, what you’ve helped bring to life is an extraordinary gift to America for its 250th birthday, and for generations to come.
And thank you to @elonmusk for an incredibly generous and historic gift to America’s children!
Incredible Elon! This will be the largest philanthropic gift in history! 70 M accounts - every citizen under 18 & every child born forevermore now has a free, lifetime investment acct making them an owner in the upside of America & our greatest companies! 🇺🇸🚀🤍@TrumpAccounts @InvestAmerica24
“In the next decade, knowledge work will finally transition from single player apps designed for individuals to shared environments designed for groups of people.” (2020)
And their agents, too. (2026 addendum)
Wabi CEO @ekuyda predicts the next big consumer AI platform will be multiplayer, not another personal AI agent:
"Today most AI products are single player, and you could argue they don’t have much of a moat. They don’t have switching costs. It was pretty easy to move between Claude and ChatGPT, but at least they had some memory about me."
"With these single player agents, it’s so easy to jump between them because all the context is in my Gmail."
"In a year, one of the biggest consumer AI platforms will be multiplayer and will have network effects in it. Right now we just sort of agree that single player is the way to go for most AI products."
"A year from now we’ll look back at it as the early innings, and the products that will win will have network effects and will be focused on you talking to other people, not just AI."

No amount of new taxes will ever be enough to pay for the endless fraud and looting.
It's like feeding a cancer tumor. The more resources they get, the more powerful they become, and the more impossible it becomes to stop the spiral towards bankruptcy.
California is losing at least $50 billion a year to fraud, so even under the most optimistic assumptions, the “wealth tax” will only collect enough to pay California’s fraud budget for 7 months.
