FARM ATTACK: Another South African farmer attacked and brutally tortured on his farm this week.
Cattle farmer, Donovan Marx, from the North West province, had his ears cut off on Wednesday morning during a farm attack.
He was also shot in the shoulder and stabbed (with a sharp object) in the leg.
And, for the umpteenth time, as far as I can determine, not a single article on any English media platform about it. This gross coverage disparity between the Afrikaans and English media when it comes to farm murders is what makes it possible for so many politicians and commentators to get away with their disgusting farm murder denialism.
You know what's even more infuriating? History and research shows, if the victim was black and the torturers were white, we would see this story on every front page and news channel for weeks. Debates, panel discussions, political party statements - the works! The president would even come out and condemn the attack.
Again, I refuse to accept the twisted, psychopathic standard that dismisses a farmer having his ears cut off as "just normal crime."

Afrikaners are among the only immigrants to the Netherlands from Africa who have contributed economically to the Dutch state.
This is according to research by Dr Jan van de Beek, @demo_demo_nl, who conducted a major study on immigration to the Netherlands.

Immigration from the Southern Africa region is for the most part immigration from South Africa and consists for a considerable part of immigrants with recent or older Dutch roots.”
By contrast, immigrants from the Horn of Africa and Sudan impose a net fiscal cost of around €315,000 per person.
