Bay Area alternative rock band @sourwidows's session hit like a lightning strike - and even that’s an understatement. Playing songs off their debut album, 'Revival of a Friend', the band blends dreamy, slowcore soundscapes with erupting crescendos to dizzying effect.

I read that the synthy ending of Staring Into Heaven/Shining by @sourwidows takes inspiration from the music in the scene in Kiki’s Delivery Service where Kiki sees Ursula’s painting for the first time so I decided to see how they fit together. It obviously works beautifully!
