Chronic illness brought @uncertainadept to El Salvador because she had no other choice left. Six years later, she calls it home 🇸🇻 After years of declining health, she discovered circadian biology and her life changed completely. It was El Salvador’s natural healing properties, including volcanic soil, equatorial UV index and a consistent light-dark cycle, that helped her get her health back. Watch the full episode to hear more about circadian biology, health sovereignty, and what it means to build a win-win future. 📽️: youtu.be/5WRnu0wiGho

He built a way to pass your Bitcoin to your heirs with zero third parties involved! @ericscalibur saw a gap few Bitcoiners think about - what happens to your stack when you're gone? Most inheritance plans hand control to third parties. He built something different. Encryption locks your seed phrase, and a Deadman Switch monitors that you're still active. Miss your check-ins long enough, and it fires one last email to your beneficiary with everything they need. No one else involved. He calls it setting up your last Bitcoin transaction. And in many ways, your most important one. 🙌🏼 📽️: youtu.be/ZTSMEDIXe5A

"Once we get the money right, what do we do then?" "Fix the money, fix the world, but it's gonna take human action, and I think that comes through entrepreneurship." - Michael Ruiz @sovmindset on why he created @BuildInES "We want to be the voice of the entrepreneur." Enjoy the full interview: youtube.com/watch?v=_JkOR7RO… "When you get really smart, forward thinking, independent minds together looking at problems to solve, and you put them together to collaborate, amazing things can happen." Thank you @stacyherbert for the shout out! BIES is proud to be part of the renaissance happening here 🚀🇸🇻 H/t to @SimplyBitcoin for the clip. Pulled from their Sept 29th livestream.

Howdy folks! 🤠 Time to pull them boots on. We are mighty proud to announce the inaugural Renaissance Rodeo — a full day of bull riding, barbecue, and good times a-plenty. It premieres November 13th, the day after Bitcoin Historico. We’ll be celebrating Central American cowboy culture and the renaissance unfolding right before our eyes in El Salvador. This here’s a welcome for locals, internationals, and the hardworking people in livestock and agriculture who keep this land fed. El Salvador’s growing in sovereignty, prosperity and security by the day — and who better to honor than the men and women who put food on all our tables? Expect music that’ll get your boots stompin’, a gigantic barbecue, bull riding, horse racing, poker, mutton busting, and a whole heap of other fun to enjoy and join in. Yes. Kids are welcome and will be riding sheep! We’re much obliged to our sponsors, without whom this rodeo wouldn’t be possible: 👑 Bitcoin Historico Stacy Herbert and the Bitcoin Office @btchistoricosv @bitcoinofficesv @stacyherbert 🐮Origin Ganadero Andrea Hernandez Tobar, Tom Taber and Cole Bolton @OrigenGanadero ♠️Bitpoker Cory and Brian @BitPokerSV And here’s some good news: in collaboration with Bitcoin Historico, anybody with a ticket to the conference will receive a free ticket to the Renaissance Rodeo!!! Folks with boots on the ground in El Salvador can already see the wonderful, positive change this country is in the midst of. It’s a Renaissance. And what better way to celebrate that than with a Rodeo? We’ll be wrangling up weekly updates for y’all in the lead-up to November and Bitcoin Week in El Salvador. Stay tuned 🎬

Salvadoran businesses could make a lot more revenue if they invested more in customer service and relationships. I don’t mean that people are rude or unkind. It’s more that many businesses seem unaware of the potential upside, because business development as a discipline is still relatively new here. Innovation isn’t necessarily the first thing that crosses your mind when you’ve spent years focused on surviving and barely making it to the end of the month. So when dealing with a vendor in El Salvador, I’ve learned that you need to be very specific about what you want, how you want it, and when you need it delivered. If you approach them proactively and respectfully, they’ll often follow your lead. And what could initially be perceived as bossy or arrogant starts to disappear once your intention to work together toward a common goal becomes clear. You make them feel part of the mission, like you’re both working on the same team, and communication becomes much easier. I’ve done this several times, and it has worked extremely well. People appreciate when you genuinely take an interest in their work and try to be helpful. At the end of the day, better execution means more business for them, more money earned, and food on the table. When that relationship is built properly, a lot of the complaints you hear about “gringo pricing” or getting scammed can also become less relevant. You start speaking a common language with local vendors. You understand each other better, build trust, and become someone they actually enjoy working with. You obviously can’t control how they’ll provide their service to everyone else in the future. But you can leave an imprint. They’ll remember you, understand your expectations, and usually be happy to work with you again. These lessons come from my own experience, but also from conversations with several members of the @BuildInES community who run businesses in construction, farming, logistics, and other hands-on industries. This is only one of many areas where there’s room for improvement in El Salvador, but I think it can be a segue toward creating goodwill and stronger relationships between locals and foreigners who genuinely want to contribute to the country and build their lives here. If you don’t have the energy, patience, or time to navigate these differences, El Salvador might not be for you. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s simply something worth realizing before you lose your mind over situations you never wanted to deal with in the first place. At Build In El Salvador, we have a community of entrepreneurs, creators, and builders who have decided to be here for the long term They share these kinds of insights with each other to better navigate the realities of building in a developing country.
