Safety of rotational atherectomy in #ACS. >2,000 pts undergoing Rota, ✅No difference in Death/MI, slight increase in slow flow. Data suggests safety in selected #ACS, and not an absolute contradiction. Just out in @AmJCardio @DoctorKini @Drroxmehran

Our study just 📖 in @EuroInterventio. Potent P2Y12 agents (ticagrelor, Prasugrel) now used in 1 in 3 patients undergoing stable CAD #PCI. No difference in safety or efficacy compared to clopidogrel @Drroxmehran @DoctorKini @g_giustinoMD @georgedangas – at Mount Sinai, NY
Potent P2Y12 inhibitors, such as prasugrel and ticagrelor, are increasingly used in CCS patients undergoing PCI. In this study, there were no differences between potent P2Y12 inhibitors and clopidogrel in terms of ischemic and bleeding events at one year. ow.ly/rwRn50MvR7Q
