Goals for tech should be people in 2070 saying -
âIâd rather be a peasant today than a king 50 yrs ago. They had dirty air, uncontrolled viruses, were dying prematurely and trapped on one planet. Things were awful.â

Canva Craft, the first ever image model by @canva, takes the #4 spot on DesignArena's Image leaderboard. This makes Canva the #2 Image Lab after @OpenAI!
Notably, it wins most often on photorealistic product and object shots, setting up studio-style lighting and detailed material textures on a single hero object. It also ranks #1 on the Portrait and Landscape subcategories.
Congrats to the @canva team on the launch!

Endurance is on a historic run. During our mission to the Axial Seamount, we successfully drilled the worldâs first subsea geothermal well and generated net-positive power a mile beneath the Pacific. This mission was the first end-to-end test of subsea geothermal, and our fifth deep-sea deployment in just over a year. For three weeks, we worked around the clock over an active underwater volcano, running the drill and generator and handling every deployment and recovery. Along the way, we:
- Landed our drill within feet of target, drilled two holes, and cased and completed the second as a geothermal well, flowing at 260°C.
- Landed AdĂŠlie, our 3-ton test plant, and ran it in real time from Seattle over subsea fiber.
- Drilled with filtered seawater, not drilling mud, and monitored the site on every dive.
- Recovered, serviced, and redeployed AdĂŠlie in about 16 hours.
- And on Sept. 27, connected to a 281°C natural vent, spun the turbine up to 26,000 rpm and ran the plant net positive for 8.7 seconds, peaking at 16.5 kW.
Net power is the threshold every new energy source has to cross. For Endurance, it proves subsea geothermal is real, and gives us the confidence to keep sprinting towards commercial scale.
With a test like this, success comes from what we learn: a battery protection trip ended the run, a pump cable failed on restart, and the new well was too restrictive to run the plant. Those lessons go straight into Gentoo, our next test plant, this winter and Leopard, our 2 MW commercial generator.
Weâre incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. It took creativity, precision, an uncompromising focus on safety from everyone on board, and itâs only the beginning of what weâre capable of. We couldnât have done it without Stabbert Maritime and the crew of the Ocean Guardian, the ROPOS team, the University of Washington, WASSOC, and the National Science Foundation.
For 20 years Elonâs companies had a monopoly on non-CS engineering majors, he got the best. This group is the next cohort of deeptech founders - ambitious, well trained and post economic after the SpaceX IPO. Watch out!
Big day for @nabihasaklayen and the @cellinobio team. @withreservoir is live. Store your own immune cells from a single blood draw, at a clinic or at home.
Congratulations Nabiha and team, we at @Felicis are proud to be believers in you since Series A.

Today we're announcing $75M to build Solcoa One, our 500-tonne rare earth metallization plant in Nevada.
At Solcoa, we believe rare earths are the foundation of America's next great industrial era. An era we intend to win on the merits, with superior American technology.

Growth this year at @supabase has been wild. Each month I wonder if going to peak, and yet the charts keep climbing
What feels unprecedented is that all charts are trending up - even as sign ups grow, so does activation and conversion
LLMs have changed the game - not only are there more builders than ever, they are able to build easier and get to a functioning app faster.
Itâs never been a better time to build
NEW from Ramp data. Despite cost-cutting on AI overall, one area companies are increasing their spend: AI security software.
In the wake of the Hugging Face hack, three of our trending software vendors (depthfirst, Monte Carlo, Antithesis) make software specifically designed to monitor agents in production.
Unclear as to whether any of them would have stopped the Hugging Face attack, which was so hard to track and identify because the agents covered their tracks with falsified logs.
I expect AI security will become a strong headwind to deeper enterprise adoption, at the short-term expense of OpenAI and Anthropic and at the long-term benefit of vertical-specific security software cos.

Iâm thrilled to share that @CrusoeAI has raised $3.9b in our Series F valuing the company at $30.9b and providing the growth capital necessary to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. 8 years in and what a journey itâs been with @Electron_Cowboy. The company is firing on all cylinders right now and our growth opportunities have never been bigger. To everyone whoâs been a part of it along the way, thank you! Weâre just getting started!! đđđ
Crusoe has raised $3.9 billion in Series F, co-led by @Atreidesmgmt, @MubadalaCapital, and @valor Equity Partners.
This capital will help us grow across our AI factories, from large-scale campuses to modular Crusoe Spark units, and continue to innovate with Crusoe Cloud.

The physical world is getting a digital workforce.
Magentic is building the digital workforce for manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. Its AI workers, called Mages, diagnose problems, gather evidence, plan the next step, and act across fragmented enterprise systems, while people stay in command.
Companies including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Siemens are already working with Magentic.
We at @Felicis are proud to lead Magenticâs Series A. Congratulations to Robin Van Aeken, Odhran OâDonoghue, and the entire Magentic team. The physical world is ready for agents. cc: @speechu @FHaskaraman

Interesting dinner table idea: Instead of curing cancer which will take 8 years to clear trials, Dario and others should focus on a nanny robot in every household. People directly see value, AI becomes popular + thereâs a fertility boom.

We just hit 100M ARR, 10 months after our first deployment.
One of the fastest growing physical companies in human history.
Deeply grateful to our team and partners for making this achievement possible. We're just getting started.
Long @endurancegeo and ocean based data centers
My directive has halted up to 1,800 data center projects.
I established guidelines & guardrails to protect Texas communities:
âď¸Data centers must not take water needed by local communities,
âď¸They must not take power needed by the Texas power grid,
âď¸They must lower the cost of electricity,
âď¸They must not disrupt neighborhoods or rural communities.
These guidelines are now the universally applied standard in Texas.

Itâs pretty cool to have grown up reading about colossally stupid movements against things like nuclear power and now to be able to see them happen in real time as an adult.
BREAKING: I just signed an Executive Order implementing the strictest standards in the nation for AI data centers â because I will not allow Pennsylvanians to be bullied by greedy developers and bulldozed by the lawyers working for these big tech companies.
Effective immediately, weâre requiring AI data centers to commit to strict environmental and transparency requirements AND receive approval from the local community if they want to build here.
Thatâs not all: Weâre also removing ALL data centers from our Fast Track permit program and stopping any office or agency under my jurisdiction from signing an NDA with AI data center developers.Â
Iâm putting these developers on notice and letting them know that we will not let them bully Pennsylvanians, disregard our constitutional right to clean air and pure water, and drive up our utility bills.
Iâm using the full weight of my executive authority to block the objectionable, unwarranted projects and put the nationâs strictest set of protections in place.

Fascinating. Some data centers came to a struggling town in Washington state. Did it run out of water? Was the community destroyed?
Letâs see. The townâŚbuilt a new high school, hospital, library, sewage systems, and police & fire stations. Poverty fell from 29% to 6%.
Oh.
